Isn't this kind of a dumb rule?
There are tons of music that don't have a copyright on them, so why can't we use those? Why do we have to physically create our own tunes???
If you have permission to use the desired song, then it is allowed. I think. Sort of what support told me. -
So... I need physical permission from some song without copyright on it? Did I get that right? >.<
NCS songs allowed as they give you explicit permission to use on YouTube as long you give them credit.

Thanks a lot for the info. Now we just need a confirmation from a GM. -

Sony Vegas Pro is the best program by far. After you made the video you can edit it more/better with Adobe After Effects, but both these programms are expensive af, but you could get I trial I think.
If you're new to these programms I would suggest not to use after effects, but edit the video in sony vegas pro only. -
Can we use videos recorded on alt accounts too or only main accounts allowed?
I might make something this year, can't decide yet though :S
Yes you may use you alts in your video, but make sure you submit under the ign you would like to receive the rewards if you won.Can the award be a weapon currently limited?
Only weapons not allowed are VIP characters and Noble Beast weaponsdsfsdgsdfg wrote: »So can we add more than 1 video to the same category?
Check the post on this. The first video will be accepted, the second will not.Isn't this kind of a dumb rule?

This is exactly why, please review YouTube's rules on adding disclaimers etc. It is a grey area rule. It's safer not to use copyrighted material in case YouTube mutes the music. Just be very careful. If it's copyrighted we will not be able to upload it to our channel. There is a FAQ section that may help answer your questions HERE.IgnoringME wrote: »Can someone win twice ?
You may only win once, this makes it fair to everyone else participating. -
i sent a support ticket to answer some question but most of the answers made 0 sense and eventually didnt answer my actual question,so
1) Team Work category,is a tripletage eligable? technically its with friends and we are making it all together so it has to be imo. ( Gm answer:As long as the kills are from working together on a team, it will count for the Team Work category.)well, what does that actually mean?a yes or a no?(how can i actually do what they say?)
2) they said not copyrighted content,if a song is copyrighted but :The claimant is allowing their content to be used in your YouTube video.Does that mean i can be disqalified for that or no?GM's answer: Copyrighted content is a grey area. You may use songs if they use the proper disclaimers however, if it is copyrighted material we will not be able to upload it to our channel. ( so not being able to upload it on their channel means that its not eligable right?but what if the actual owner allows it to be used in youtube videos, that means no restrictions or anything.
help am confused -

1- I'm not sure what you mean by Tripetage. Basically the category is something that shows teamwork, or friendship. Only 1 person can win for this- it isn't a team reward. Just show you and a team working together and CrossFire as a community.
2- If you have permissions and it's royalty-free it should be eligible. Basically just be careful what you use and source the proper credits. Previous years songs have been muted by YouTube due to copyright- we are trying to avoid that. -
By a tripletage i mean exactly this: Am playing with 2 friends in public rooms,we are on the same team and we try to individually collect ''nice'' kills.for example killstreaks or 1taps and on so on, after we get enough frags, they send them to me where i will edit them through sony vegas, and a friend helps me at some parts with cinema 4D/photoshop.the result is a montage,3 person's ''best kills'' in a single video where each is credited for their kills.Everyone is aware that is not a team-reward and is fine with it,still willing to help to make a great video! Is this what i described eligible for the category?
-
can someone tell me if ''BALLIN-LOGIC'' is ok to use?
You can look up music policies directly on YouTube.
Follow these steps: Login on YouTube > My Channel > Video Manager > Create > Music Polices = There you can look up copyright polices for any song. It will tell you if you're safe to use it or not.
You can also download free music from YouTube Audio Library. (My Channel > Video Manager > Create > Audio library)
I personally get my music from free non copyrighted channels. Here's some channels that I often use: NoCopyrightSounds, Frequency - NCS, Lega- NCS (<lots of good trap, rap, edm beats), Bass Rebels - NCS.
I use music from these channels and never had a copyright claim/strike. Just make sure you follow the "how to use" instructions properly and you'll be fine.
Good luck. -

It sounds to me like there is a great deal of teamwork involved in this so yes. However, if chosen only one person will win the reward.Edit:

Thanks Reus! Will participation be enough to win the stripe
Unfortunately, you must win to earn the ribbon. -
What about music which is basically copyrighted, but youtube allows to play it. Should be fine i guess?
"You can see ads in your video.
Your video has copyrighted content found.
The claimant allows the use of its content in your YouTube video. However, advertisements could be displayed." -
About music, if I use nocopyright music, is it possible?
Your question has been answered before.CamelSoldier wrote: »NCS songs allowed as they give you explicit permission to use on YouTube as long you give them credit.
