(Just for clarification, it is possible to disable signatures. But I don't want to disable signatures, I just want to disable pictures from appearing in signatures for mobile purposes.) -

Yes Click on general setting. -

Yeah, but it's all or nothing. Usually mobile friendly versions disable pictures but leave everything else, that's more of what I'm hoping will happen. -

I think we should be allowed to add pictures in signatures. However, it should be limited as mentioned.
You could just infract people who use inappropriate pictures or if it offends some specific person only, that person could report it and so.
I don't think people would use inappropriate pictures. Like if they wanted to post something inappropriate, they could just post them, no need for signature.
Also, I believe it would be the same work for Mods/GMs as they check threads anyway. -
I say keep em unique to the motg winners. It's quite annoying now seeing that everyone has these sigs. And distinguishing a mod/GM from the rest. (With the exception of the motg winners)
Adding a post count which gives forumers access to image sigs is a good idea but it will lead people posting 3 worded comments in every thread aka post farming. -

Sigs should be limited to those who matter (those who placed in an official tourney for example). I don't think someone should get a sig because they make paper guns :^) -

If we start taking shots, I will close this thread and infract as needed, and picture signatures may disappear altogether. Lets not go there. I don't like being one to complain, but a big reason my team and I were so excited for these forum sigs was because of the 'specialness' or 'rarity' factor. Having the ability to have a sig without being a mod is like a second prize for us and while I am personally happy with the sigs we got regardless, the ability of everybody being able to just post their own takes a lot away from it. Triton spent time he didn't have to spend making these for us and it means a lot, and they look fantastic.

Interesting that they finally opened up to the members of the public having sigs.
If anything, it should be limited to the active side of the community. To the players that post on a nearly daily basis in the forums. e.g. This feature gets unlocked after you get 3000 posts. This is just one of the many ways that you could limit the sig feature to the active members.
I always think to myself, what is the point of unlocking this feature to players who won tournaments if they barely post on the forums. It just doesn't make sense. Maybe if they got a rare weapon then yeah, that makes sense. -

But my point is, wouldn't you guys prefer exclusive weapons rather than sigs?
