It ain't much of programming to add some exceptions - we all know that. Just make it straight: Those are the exceptions - if you break them -> No mercy. -

No, I'm saying when some UI changes were allowed there were cases of "well this isnt against the rules, so I assumed this wasnt" - the way to combat that? Stop any client sided changes.
No-one is trying to ruin anything, they're making the playing field more equal. No custom sounds, everyone has the same sounds, meaning no-one has a sound advantage, you all hear the same things at the same time, for the same amount of time.
Support DO read every ticket. That's LITERALLY their job. If you're getting the same answer, try reading what it actually says, they generally tell you what you're doing wrong in their reply.....
But, they tried that, people were still rez file modding....so they have taken it to the next level and said NO changes. At all. Full stop. If people abuse the system, the system gets taken away. That is how it works.why when i play game they tell me File is changed : W2007 L2

Well, fine then - I guess I won't achieve anything (neither would you probably - I guess the decisions are made way higher ). Is there any possibility that they would maybe at least still allow us to change the BGM tracks? I mean, come on, at least let me listen to my own music when I'm browsing my storage, the lobby or the black market... Please ._.
Well, I could go into detail and explain to you why I am 100% sure they did NOT read my ticket but that ain't something for this thread. Would it be okay if I send you a PM about that? -

Is there any possibility that they would maybe at least still allow us to change the BGM tracks? I mean, come on, at least let me listen to my own music when I'm browsing my storage, the lobby or the black market... Please ._.

It's been like that right up until this announcement...and why don't you just turn OFF the in game music like everyone else..? Then you can listen to whatever you want in the background using a media player/youtube.... -

Yes there were A LOT of people who could see through walls because they altered files within the game and pretended they don't cheat, now that number can be greatly reduced.

Kanadian said that shouldn't be allowed to do that but it doesn't harm anyone. I'm sure there's a way to all of this but imagine getting banned for changing kill marks and I sure as hell don't want to risk that.

I think the general idea is to stop people from exploiting the game of glitches by modifying the game files. It's easier for them to put a ban on all files rather than specific files.
It also makes it clear to all users that modifying any game files could be a bannable offense. -

Basically even "minor" file modifications like killmarks can cause errors and bugs within the game, which explains why all modifications are forbidden now (at least that's one of the main reasons). -
If you're removing the option to change sounds , you should at least make it so you can disable it in-game.
Just like the Radio message sounds, there should be an option to disable announcement sounds ( grenades, mission success, etc )
Also, you should fix the sound in WAVE mode because it drives me nuts that i have the sound at 0 and still hear the music / ambient
Other than that, please do restrict file changes to stop hackers in the game, but do still give legit players the option to change in-game what they can't in the files anymore.
