Well I aint heard sh1t about other versions got delay when it comes to preordering VIP.
And delaying is a z8's tradition. Giving out crate, maintenance... when was the last time they did it right?
I can only assume, based on this, that you don't understand the definition of a 'delay' and what a problem is. They clearly told you something can up, all right cool, stand by and await for a solution or expect delivery next week.
When was the last time? You don't realize the countless times they've successfully pulled off events over the last 5 years because all you desire is to focus on is looking for every little thing to bash them on, period. -
As you get older you learn to deal with disappointment, and with not being able to get what you want when you want/expect it.
That being said, this is really unprofessional, not to mention disrespectful. Here's the main reasons why:
1) This VIP update has been discussed/ planned for over a month. The SG West team has known about it for some time, and I would imagine that part of the preparation process for releasing it would include some discussion of possible problems/ situations that could arise. The fact that sudden new "issues" have arisen speaks poorly of the planning abilities of the whole team. And I should add that these issues were brought up in a public Q&A, so it was the players themselves who must have pointed out these problems...I would have hoped the computer techs at SG would have the same foresight as their less-experienced customers.
2) Even supposing that there were unforeseeable issues that needed to be addressed, informing the public on the day OF the patch, mere hours before, that there will be several days of delay, is simply disrespectful. I understand that time is needed to communicate with the HQ in Korea, and that the inner business politics are perhaps not helping speed things up. Just give us a bit more warning. The best equivalent I can give is if I bought something, and Fedex told me it would arrive by a certain day, and then told me later that day that it would actually get there 5 days later. Except in this case, Fedex and the company I buy from are one and the same. And therefore they are completely responsible.
3) Building off of point #2, the late notice shows us two possible things. Either the Toronto team is so unprepared that they really couldn't have posted a notice any sooner, or they just don't care enough to give us (the customers) a reasonable heads up. Or they were really thought notifying us right before the patch was a good idea.
I apologize for going on a bit of spiel, but it needs to be said, and even more importantly, it needs to be heard. This type of behavior really needs to cease if SG is going to become a leading game developer. -

Wtf im not gonna nna be in town monday so your saying thats it we were promised a kurki vip to be delivered tuesday but instead of waiting 3-5 more hours we have to wait around five days.. Its clear you guys did not get enough money from the presale so your extending it dont lie to us it doesnt take 5 days to fix a problem i would understand hours maybe 1 day but not 5 . Can you at least tell us the problems so it doesnt look like your greedy for zp

Actually were getting snowed in pretty hard... and going outside is not a good thing when there is no place to walk but the road...

I have no official answer, and I apologize for that. This is an internal part of a process we're not privy to.
I can only speculate that a technical issue arose sometime today. -

But I can tell you that I just confirmed that the delay was a prompt response to an improper testing phase, it caused problems for the game itself because it was not the right build. The build they'd received was one that was designated to fix an issue. -
You say no disrespect has been shown to the player? Well perhaps not in words, but in your actions it has been a very BIG disrespect to the ppl who have supported you...Seems to me what words & actions come from a person or organization shows what is in their minds. Seems in the event of this delay you are willing to extend the offer to pre-order the kukri....hmmm....what does that show is on your minds?
You also seem to delete posts you don't like.....hmmm are you afraid of truth? Just sayin'
