NA Sign-ups:
IGN: ]D[etaCtiVE*
Rank: Marshall
Ping RANGE: Depends on weather, #Texas; Good days 50-70. Bad days 65-95.
I'm good either way, ping wise.
Oh, not sure how you're doing this, but can the scores not go on the forums? Whether they both agree or not? Just to avoid arguments, hue. -

I can honor requests of certain scores not being publicly posted. But I'll have a bracket (on challonge or something). If you don't want your scores to be publicly seen, I can represent that with a 1-0 if you end up winning, vice versa.
Scores shouldn't be a problem. I'll take care of any arguments, mostly just having the two players pm each other to avoid thread clashing. If you do end up winning, good for you. And even if you lose a match, that's also cool 'cause it's just a 1v1 for potentially a game code, not a $100,000 check.
edit; I'm keeping track of signed-up players on notepad, will post the complete list for both NA and UK once the spots are filled. Keep 'em coming. -

If this semester doesn't screw up all my time, I'll throw in something for the top winna'.
Also, can someone be in-game, other than specs, to watch the game chat? Talking sht and hackusations gets you disqualified? -
Can you make a statement regarding the exact time this will take place? I'd like to know exactly when will the matches be held and how will it all work. I'd really like to participate but all I can hope is that my school obligations don't interfere in.

It's a 1v1 tournament, so you play an assigned player. If you win, you move on. If you lose, you're out. It'll be a single elimination bracket with hopefully 32 players on both sides (NA and UK). But it's not a huge priority to max 32 players.
As far as scheduling goes, I'm planning to close sign-ups on Thursday, release brackets on Friday, and begin the opening tournament this weekend. Saturday and Sunday, we should be able to complete it. That's my plan as of now.joonLLLLLLL wrote: »edit: what about those who might cheat? you didn't clarify if we record or not
Again as far as this goes, I'm more worried about competitive players trying to cheat/bypass xtrap with certain exploits. On the flip side, I understand that overall, many players do/will have trouble recording gameplay. This is why I'm most likely not going to require recording.
I think I mentioned this somewhere. Spectators will preside over matches, GMs will be able to get involved if necessary. The issue of cheating or even suspicion could be easily dealt with. I will release an official announcement on that soon.
