I use to have so much respect for these guys.. But man over the past 2 months you've made yourselves look like classless egotistical scumbags.

Naaaah most of the top players dont even spend ******ed time on forums talking trash or in game really, they just roll kids. The people who talk the most are almost always the failures. Lest we take away the tension between teams/individuals though, egos and trash taking will be a part of competition regardless of the sport/game

In my opinion a lot of teams (relating to an earlier post) lack that 4th and/or 5th spot. There's alot of teams and even 'small clans' that have good players but usually have the little weight at the end. Not saying all teams do but they can relate when it comes to consistency sometimes.

And as Suko said, egos. Most people I PUG and ring for usually have a 'urge' to be good.. which leads to rage and becoming even worse. But like I said.. not everyone. :)

Other than that if people actually tried a little harder they could easily show ACE competition.

    I just died
  • Was going to read the entire thread, but once I read that people were throwing around flick and A5 as top contenders I couldn't concentrate due to myself rolling on the floor laughing.

Now before too much hate floats my way I do not intend to respect those teams and those players, they are good teams that can compete with the rest of CF. However, they are no better than the 10-15 competitive teams (recreated, reorganized, same players) that are in this community (that are also "good"). There are then 1-3 "great teams" and then Ace Gaming at the top. To recognize flick and A5 as "top teams" is absurd.

*More on topic though and before "tldr" I think the main problem is sponsorship. There are no major sponsors for CF and with Ace being a successful and sponsored team, they can dedicate more time to practice and feel confident to solidifying a lineup. The rest of us actually have lives that need to be lived. Esports is not an option for a career. We are constantly changing lineups to get a little better. Unless a group of players no life this game despite no sponsorship, it will be hard to dismantle Ace Gaming.

It would only get 50 views anyways. "Randoms" (BR players who aren't famous in Brazil) get a 1000 from their BR community. We have no support for each other lol.

Ok, good to have that clarified. I think my point still gets across though.

    Now days.

They just didn't just waltz in here at the top. This game or others, they have spent a phenomenal amount of time to get to where they are at. Many psychologists, doctors, and over educated folks like that state that it takes 10,000 hours to be completely proficient and professional at a skill. This is something I actually think they got right.

Ehh while Id agree to an extent, Id say you can lose skills over time if you dont play. I don't think their is a plateau you can get to in gaming and then only play matches and take enormous breaks and maintain a top notch level of play. If you take a long break you will get worse in gaming since its more of a skill than a profession. If someone doesn't play basketball for 3 years even if they were in the NBA their shot will get worse when they return to actively playing, though due to their knowledge they are more likely to regain skills at a quicker rate.

Funny guy, no one referred to us being a top team. Instead of writing a wall of text why don't you read the posts? The amount of stupidity one person can have stumps me every time (pun intended).

Actually, somewhere close to the beginning of this monster thread, a player commented that Flick could be a top team if they had a solid 5th (or something along those lines).

    So actually he's correct.

    So actually he's not.
