all with changing our roster every week, and practicing like every other day. if we were lucky.

Theres only so much that a monitor is going to help your shot, on internationals most of the computers are 60hz. Game sense can always be improved as well as your head lining, nades, etc.Quick question, do any top players use a 60hz monitor? because every top player I've seen has a 120/144 Hz and I'm starting to wonder how much it helps. "pro meta game". Id say it has significantly dropped in the past year. If it wasn't true you'd probably be winning more than 1 match in international play kid, but sadly thats how it's going to stay each time you go. You have no shots, just great teamwork. -

Id disagree and agree with you, the teamwork is out of this world but the shots are still here when you look at ayrin and malice. Not so sure about the rest but they are not underpar
Back to what malte said. There reeeaally is nothing to be so private about an evaluation in this community 90% of it doesnt know how it should be played or have the mentality to play it well, the other 10% would be worngfully evaluated because youd be evaluating them based on your external perspective of their performance in a diluted community of clueless individuals. -

I will never brag about losing. Saying, however, that we are "significantly worse than ____" when we do just as well or better as that same team is foolish. And, to my knowledge, nobody was knifed on our team.
I think Malte is a joke, but to say that "Kanata would be 2nd/3rd/4th" is a moot point when they are the undisputed best at the moment. -

It's not foolish to say that. If two teams lose to kanata by the same margin, you still can't make a comparison based off that.
That's like saying since the pacers beat the heat and the 76ers beat the pacers, the 76ers are better than the heat. Doesn't make sense right?
In my h0nest opinion, if you would have played Alpha5 you still would have been destroyed. Doesn't matter about the scores against ACE. I don't mean to bash you or your team here... i actually thought you guys had potential, but realistically i don't think exertus was comparable to Alpha5. -

We played Alpha 5, with a ringer. Our first map we lost 10-8, and our second map we lost 10-7.
The thing is xotek, youve been hyping yourself and your teams up since day 1 and still nothing to show for it.
I'll wholeheartedly support any team I'm on. We're better than all of y'all, pssh, we're going to China. Just wait till we practice, you're going down. I certainly don't think anyone takes grandiose claims without any substance seriously.
That said, it's hard to argue with results, and I certainly don't think that there's "nothing to show for it".
Caliber1 placed 2nd in the CFS qualifier (we lost in overtime against Kanata in the regular bracket, and then got crushed in the finals). The Undaunted and the subsequent Exertus rosters have taken more rounds off of Kanata than any teams other than tsgh.
With that said, obviously we had hoped to do better. But I fail to see how me jokingly saying "pssh, the only thing holding us back is mouse acceleration" places any keel on the fact that we recently had obliterated every team other than Kanata, Alpha 5, and a random loss to Player Slayer.

Outside of those losses, the only single map we dropped - to any team - was on Black Widow to Bio, in OT. No excuses, but that was our first time ever playing BW as a team. Our scores on the maps we'd practiced?
