No point arguing over an opinion. If you care so much, repost an evaluation yourself. I could argue and say flick and trix deserve to be higher up on the list than undaunted based on the Winter Series performance but it really doesn't matter. If zzxq thinks xotek will make all the difference this time, just wait and see.

Undaunted has performed, we just didnt in Winter Series. in late 2013 we got 3rd in ESG Season 1, 4th in OCG SS 1, and 5th in OCG SS 2
Dude i'm pretty sure you lost to playtex and inverse placed higher than you in OCG SS 2. These placements are average at best and deserve a 4 or 5 not a 6.5.
So the difference from a 7 and 6.5 is 1 trip to china, 2 wcg finals, top 5 in lan, cfs top 5 twice, ESG 2nd place, multiple top 3 random shty cup finishes like OCG, there is probably more but i'll stop here. Then there is undaunted with a 3rd 4th and 5th placement in cups where only 1-2 good teams played. Also where they lost to joke teams.

but logic and drel will always say they got 4th / 5th because it sounds better, but hey they beat us by 1 so gratz for that.

so undaunted rating: 14 -
Undaunted has got a lot better than you guy's think with reid's leading. I'm almost positive they'll make it into top 8, but I still don't think they earn the rating that kyle gave his team. Sure you guy's have been doing good in scrims lately, but if we're going of recent gameplay, wouldn't it be fair to judge teams off their placings and recent match performances?

I do disagree with zzxq's placement of undaunted on the list though but I don't know why he's being bashed for expressing his opinion. He can place obliteration over kanata if he wants, it's his opinion lol -

Agreed, but it is the Z8 forum. If you don't keep that in mind when posting something like this, poo hits the fan. Being over opinionated and super biased never works out, even if its "your opinion".

If you're basing this sheerly off of past placings, it's obvious that Undaunted doesn't deserve a rating above 50%. Also, prime's first big placing as a team was ESG Winter, in which they took LTM (who played two of the three maps 4v5 and the 3rd map 3v5) into the very last round of the last map to only win 10-8 with a 1v3 clutch (so you could say they made it past round one by luck). Not to mention they placed higher than they earned due to a DQ win. Normally I'd say that they don't deserve top 5, but if you look at the current competitive teams, I guess they do.
Also regarding FG LAN, we did place 4th because Web Gaming dropped out before we played them in the playoffs, and they weren't supposed to be there in the first place. But again based off of how you're rating teams on past placement undaunted should be last (just like FG) and trio should be 4th.

You have no idea what you're talking about. We played them on black widow and beat them 10-6. Then we played them on subbase and beat them 9-0 the first half and then they left. There was no '1v3 situation' to win the game and it never went to a third map. Also, it was 4v5 the whole time, never 3v5 (not that there's much of a difference.)
I'm kinda interested as to where you got this information, because none of anything you said is true other than 4v5'ing them.
EDIT: And this is not prime's first 'big' placing.

I have no match experience with Undaunted's current roster.
However, we have "practiced" 3 maps so far (we are on to Black Widow now).
We've played Fly Society on one of our practiced maps. We won 10-2.
We played Instinct on two of our practiced maps with our sub. We won 10-6 and 10-3. Socks rage-quit the last half at 3-1.
We played Kanata with a ringer and a sub on one of our practiced maps, and lost 10-8 (they also had a ringer and a sub, go figure).
Ultimately, scrims do not matter very often. However, I am excited to see how things turn out in the future.
