This comes up when I run crossfire help me please thanks.

Things ive done to make crossfire work, deleted antivirus, stopped my firewall, updated system windows, got my latest updated gamecard or what ever card, opened up all my ports, of course ran the game in admin, and much more....

I have re downloaded and will re download it if necessary I am a Echo 8 Competitive player and one of the best players of this game I must come back!

Thank you for helping me with this although I am connected through a wire, but its through my university system, I dont know what to do. I am so frustrated I want to come back and play crossfire!

hmmm sometime the antivirus and firewall get in the way of cf you can try turning those off

Ive deleted my anitvirus and turned off my firewall still not working

one thing that usually works for me is when I completely uninstall cf and then install it again however it may also be your router and you might have to restart it if you can

I've had that couple times, unistall game, delete z8 folder, download game again. It should work.

The day k0 gives someone 50k zp, but yeah, you basically should just go to computer -> uninstall or install a program (uninstall cf) now go to search on your computer, delete z8games (should be in program files) then download and install the game again, if that doesn't work message me here or xfire

Did you actually delete the XTrap folder and started up the game again?

Guys I am using the universities internet, I think this is the reason, I am not using a normal router that I can just normally turn off and turn back on.

I have also deleted crossfire, deleted my antivirus, re downloaded crossfire and before booting crossfire I turned off my firewall (windows 8) re downloaded crossfire.

I have tried opening patcher same thing, goes to step 3 stays there for a minute then exits

universities internet wouldn't do that, unless it blocks the most random stuff.

Click start, type CMD into search and then type "tracert 67.210.208.133"

Its a G4Box server used by the game. Find out where the request times out. If it is before it leaves your university then contact you network guy at the uni

You Don't need to spend 50K for this

Edit: Install a proxy client such as Hotspot shield and your Ip will be changed and You'll bypass your univ firewall
