    You're right.

A tournament ran by a forum mod who was a GM community member.
A rule set deliberated on for weeks by everyone in the GM community.
Prizes from z8 for the winning teams.
Brackets for both the UK and NA communities.
A website complete with signup form, and rules.

Seems about as official as CFL.

Never agreed w/ zz about making multi-mode matches possibly involving CFL...

But you keep thinking that doop, but when the next motg comes, you'll see how fuuuucking ignorant you are. Also, not ALL the GM community was debating it, only a small portion. Most GMers try to avoid forums because of people like Irman/Skeena. Just two examples.

My post had no mention of zzxq. I suggest you focus on your studies, because you can not follow simple dialog.

NwG was one of the main groups debating it. All of the good GM clans were involved in those discussions. Why do I care if not all the GM community was debating it. All of the top teams were. That is clearly all that matters. You don't see us asking Guiness and Turk Emperial for input on S&D rules. Everyone plays MotG. Not just the ones who want competitive tournaments.

Don't even try to comprehend what I am thinking. You clearly do not have the capacity.

Doop must stick to debates, his LoL skills cannot compare.

Someone is happy they supposedly "won" a debate. You must feel so accomplished!

But i'm truly sorry I thought you were talking about this THREAD, and I didn't realize you were going off the wall with things that aren't relevant! :D

But honestly, you have no idea what you're talking about. You don't even play this game, I do. Why are you trying to prove a worthless point w/ no evidence to me?

How am I happy? You are wrong as usual. Don't mistake a complete rational though as happiness. Then again for someone like yourself that achievement would bring about happiness.

You said GM players only like official tournaments. I didn't realize MotG II counted as a tournament. It was after all a clan server event. Last time I checked NwG & Contagion was bigger in the GM scene than bld Veracity. You don't know what you are talking about.

I don't play this game? News to me. At the moment all I do is show up to CFL matches and dominate. What's the point of pubbing?

I liked you better when you cheated. At least then you weren't pretending to be something you aren't.

  • I'm not in Veracity, and you still have no idea what you're talking about regarding GM...

motg was a clan server event, but the amount of teams that came together for it was more than we could ever get. Though if you don't mind me asking, how am I acting like something I'm not? I'm not even talking about irl... Rather a worthless discussion about GM on a game that will be dead in 2 years.. :|

According to what he said, he does know what he's talking about actually....

I figured you were in veracity, because before I joined carbon you were in their recruiting thread for pages upon pages.

Anyways how do I not know what I am talking about?

Your sole basis for argument is that more people played in the MotG II event than the actual competitive tournaments hosted by the GM community for the GM community. Once again, I will give you my stance. I only care about the good GM clans. When I am talking about competition the casual players are mutually excluded. There was maybe 10-15 clans on the NA server, and around 7-10 on the UK server. Talon's tournament and ESL both flopped when it came to being a competitive GM event. Talon's at least finished, but compared to the buildup for it there was much disappointment. As for S&D attracting teams I don't know how new you are but for WOGL S1 there were over 100 teams signed up.

If when you said, "They (GM community as a whole, not just the top clans/teams) only like "official" (referring to only MotG I & II)." Then I would have to agree. Casual players tend to not sign up on third party events. Last time I checked I wouldn't quite put NwG under the casual GM banner though.

You are pretending to be a GM expert. This might just be personal bias, but I hold JudgeSim's opinion much higher than yours when it comes to GM. My views aren't something I came up with myself. It is things I have pulled from influential people in the GM community.
  • Oh, I didn't think you were just including "top" teams. I know I'm not a GM expert, but I have been around the pub clans, and I was apart of a FB page including 500+ people, for GM only.

I included casual, my bad. I don't find the need to argue w/ you.
