IzGangster Tournament (Cash Prize)

Yeah, mostly copied from Counterlogic tourney rules, but I edited as I seen fit.

Read before signing your team up for the Izg tourney.

We reserve the right to change, modify, or adapt all rules as deemed appropriate by IzGangster in order to uphold and maintain a spirit of overall fairness and good sportsmanship, but don't worry, everything will be fair.

All players and teams are to uphold the spirit of fair play at all times. Any attempt to beat the system will be punished swiftly and harshly. The goals of these tournaments are to aid in the development of the competitive crossfire community.

Unsportsmanlike conduct of any type, including but not limited to racist or abusive remarks and attempts to circumvent or abuse any league policy as determined by IzGangster is not tolerated and is subject to punishments including forfeits, expulsions, bans, or any other action deemed appropriate by IzGangster.

Times and dates can be debated. All games are default on the second day 
at Midnight and can be played anytime during the two days.

Game Settings
Search and Destroy:
7 Rounds

If needed overtime will consist of two 5 rounds to win halves. At the end of a half teams will switch sides and continue. Sets of overtime halves will be played until there is a winner.

All in game items that come out during the event are automatically banned. Additionally, all ZP and Crate Items are banned.

All participants must use a form of screen recording (listed below) at all times during their matches or they will automatically be disqualified from the tournament. Any attempt to circumvent the Client will result in a forfeit loss and expulsion from the cup. They must be run at at least around 10fps and 10quality.

Match Scheduling.
Either the captain or designated scheduler from the home or away team can initiate a match offer. When initiating a match offer, the captain proposes a match time and server from the pre-populated server list.
If teams disagree on server selection; the home team will choose the server for first half and the away team may switch servers at half to one of their choosing. The same rule applies for overtime. The matches are to be played within the time-frame given by me.

Server Crashes.
If a server crashes, contact a League Administrator with a detailed report. All rounds prior to the server crash will count, and the round score will be played out on a new server by nading oneself until the score is correct.

Forfeit win/losses.
If a team does not have five players in the server "readied up" after 15 minutes from the originally scheduled match time, then the opposing team can force them to play with 4. If they cannot field 4, then the other team will be able to submit a forfeit win. The captain of the team should message an admin with screenshot proof in order to submit the forfeit win.

Tournament Guidelines:
  • All requests for recording uploads must be submitted within 2 hours on the site.
  • Non-standard game settings or third party applications that affect game play are not permitted
    C4 must be planted at a viewable location. Planting C4 at a location where a boost is required is not permitted.
  • Any use of game exploits, cheats, or any other play deemed “unfair” by an admin may result in disciplinary action up to and including disqualification from the tournament.
  • All players must save game replays and end-of-game score screen shots; in the event of a dispute, these assets will be used as evidence to determine the result of the dispute.
  • All players must be online and ready to play 15 minutes prior to their scheduled match time.
    If a match disconnection occurs by either party within the first minute of a map, the map is to be restarted.
  • If a match disconnection occurs during game-play, and teams cannot come to an agreement as to the best course of action an administrator is to be contacted immediately to make a ruling as to whether or not the match should be replayed or a forefeit loss should be awarded.
  • Exploits will be judged on a case by case basis. Ignorance will NOT be a valid excuse for using an exploit, whether it is known or not. If you think something is possibly an exploit, or you are unsure as to whether or not it is, don't do it!
  • Dispute Resolutions, all disputes must be filed via a forum post on the IzGangster Tournament website and a league admin contacted within three hours of the conclusion of the match along with the demo, specific infraction, and the round in which the infraction occurred. Disputes will be resolved by League Administrators and all decisions are final.
  • Exploit & Infraction Penalties will be dealt with on a case by case decision, but standard resolution for the below infractions include overturning the round in which the infraction occurred if the infraction had a direct impact on the outcome of that round.
  • All scripts that alter a player's hit box, or give a player an unfair advantage over others are illegal.

Reporting Process:
Reporting deadline is 1 hour after the completion of the match.

Team Leaders must update the information on the reporting thread as well as xfire me the screenshots of their match by the reporting time for confirmation.
Team must retain replays/anti-cheat files/screenshots of each half of a match in case a dispute arises. These files can be deleted after the cup ends.
Teams must wait 15 minutes following the scheduled default time before submitting a forfeit win report. Valid proof is required (screenshots, confirm-able chat logs, etc).

Rule Changes:
The Administrators reserve the right to modify the rules as needed. This includes changes due to software updates or releases, event organizer decisions and all other changes deemed necessary to run a successful tournament. Players are responsible to check the rules on a regular basis and prior to the event to ensure they are in complete compliance. Players must understand that rules listed are guidelines to ensure fair and competitive play and are subject to interpretation by the administrators based on the spirit of the game.

I am putting 50$ into the prize pool myself and it will be a 10$ entry per team. ALL money will go towards the prize pool. Top 2 teams will split the money going in a 70-30 split. It will be rounded to the nearest dollar amount. Also, the MVP of the top two teams, doesn't matter what team he is on, will receive 25$ himself. MVP will be decided by FPR - Frags Per Round.

I'm still up in the air on how to receive the money, but until someone comes up with a better idea other than paypal, that's what it will be. I'm open to ideas though. The money won't be required up front, but in order to get yourself in the tournament, it must be paid before the deadline. You can still sign up until then though and I'll keep you on the list.
