energy is never wasted, only transferred
Heat is a waste byproduct of electrical energy. You can consider it "Transferred" to another molecular source, but it's still waste because it causes additional energy to be required due to the run-off of heat. See Power supply Efficiency for example -

Better question is whats your diet & Pre/Post workout food. -

thats assuming the human body is exactly like a power supply which it is not, when you burn carbs, you use up energy, however if you have energy and do nothing with it, its more or less stored, then used up later or added to whatever energy you gain from sleeping, eating and drinking, power supplies generally are the transfer of energy. we are different we recycle the energy we don't use, its not wasted. unless well you don't sleep or eat or both? lol seb is correct though, part of the process is transference. -

Because to my knowledge you lose it unless you sleep eat or something out of the ordinary such as sleep eating. -
