I'm taking a break from competitive CrossFire until WCG comes around again next year (if it comes back around) or any other league pops up that is worth playing. I'll be on xfire every now and then playing LoL, csgo, or cf with friends whenever I'm not working or at school. Good luck to the community and all of the teams that are going to stick around. Best of luck to hammertime and carnage in China. Both teams better finish top two or don't come back.

You donated for us to go to China. If we didn't receive enough from donations, we wouldn't have been able to go anyways. There was such a low turnout that, even if NeoWiz hadn't decided to not let us go, we wouldn't have had enough anyways.
You didn't buy a product, it's not like we can "return" it and get your money back. There is a % taken out on the site itself and we didn't receive all of that money anyways. Plus, with the anonymous donating, there's not way to really know who gave what or how much.
So, what you learned from this:
1. It isn't considered fraud because if you guys didn't donate enough we wouldn't have been able to go anyways. You were donating on the idea that we might not go. We didn't lie about anything.
2. We didn't receive the full amount of money because the site took a % out, so it's not like we could give you back the full amount in the end.
3. There is no real way to know who gave what, so you could simply lie about how much you gave and try to get money from us.
Sorry about us not going, but trust me, you aren't any more sad about losing your money than we are about not getting to go. Wish I had the money to give it back, but yeah. -

I donated not on the idea, brando said in this thread that you all will pay out of your pocket and this just "ease" the burden. The site might have taken the commission, I wouldn't mind taking what was left. Else, this is just fraud. Not the forst time I have heard brando taking money though. -

Funny. Once again, at that time, it was a definite that we could go, but things were taken out of our control when NeoWiz ended up changing their mind and deciding that they didn't want more than one team from each country going. WE didn't lie to you. We were going to find a way to get to go REGARDLESS of the money situation. You still donated on the pretense of us only possibly going. Anyone with moderate intelligence at all should have realized that this could happen and that just because we had the donation page that it didn't make the trip a sure thing.
I really don't see why you're getting so huffy about this either. Anyone who spent somewhere around $15+ either got something from us in return, or is still on schedule to get something (training, mouse, signed photos, etc). Plus, from the way this is all sounding, I'm guessing you probably donated like $10 and you're freaking out about that?
Really, it was still donating, but you did get "gifts/prizes" from us in return. I honestly can't believe you are being such a tightass, but seeing as you're asian, that does kind of make a bit more sense.
I do think you for your donation that you gave us on the pretense of us going, but you did donate, you didn't buy a service that you can get refunded for. Sorry. -

I'm done arguing with you. Donations were anonymous. If anyone gave a significant enough of an amount they got/are getting something in return. Fruval? wtf?
Scamming would be lying about the original donation. We didn't lie. We were going in the beginning. We 3 of our plane tickets already purchased and everything. Wasn't our fault.

Charity Fraud is obviously a form of fraud, and a part of the internet fraud category, both which are punishable offences, i suggest you report them, while it probably is likely you won't get your money back, it is very possible that the offender(S) will be incarcerated and further measures will be taken, here are some helpful links
