Is "Re-logging" considered cheating?
I've encountered across all servers, high level players, very good players who, after they get killed during SnD, leave the game and re-join almost immediately, re-spawning as though nothing happened. I've tried to save replays of me FINALLY killing some ******* after he fragged me a million times, only to have him headshot me on the same round. I've even been kicked when I complained. Or maybe it was because of my k/d, lol.
Anyway, I want to know, is this an offense that I can report?. It is not fair and it seems rather pathetic to have these players who are so bent on winning that they'll do anything. They might as well start walling and speeding. They're no different.

You guys do realize that this is not only unfair because you have 2 lives while your enemy has only 1 but also forbidden in any other game. Try to re join a room in counter strike or any other game and you wont be able to play until the round restarts.
You should have changed your weapon before you join the game. -
Horribly abused in scrims.. People keep re-joining after they die. I've lost countless games on Versus because of this. I don't mind at all in pubs though, I couldn't care less.
So you must play with other egyptians no? o.O

Youve never left and rejoined a room for whatever reason?
Not being allowed is different to forbidden. You CANT join a match mid game in CS. Youre not forbidden to do it.. you simply cant do it.... -

He isnt talking about clan wars. He is talking about scrims in an open channel. They do this because sometimes a team needs a ringer that is not in their clan.
OT....no it will never be a ban for doing this. But it will always be considered noobish. -

This topic has already been discussed before, but yes, I consider it cheating, even thought there is no punishment for it. It sucks to get killed early into a match, but that's part of the game. Exploiting the fact that you can respawn if you rejoin the game under the 2 minute mark is still just that, cheating. I consider it to be on the same level of cheating as glitching.

Can't believe some of the replies here. If it's not something that can get you banned, then it is something that you can do and it shouldn't be frowned upon?.
The only spot-on post was part of Iceman's and that was the "it could be considered noobish". I don't care how pro is your k/d(you've probably reset it several times now), if you resort to re-logging, you must give up your pro card and all the benefits that come from it. No free parking space. No dental plan, no nothing. -

I would take the opportunity to kill the respawner again... and again.... and again.... and again... hence why one would like to be spawn camping in the beginning 30 seconds to a minute.
It's just going to be their loss for continuous deaths.

it is a pain in the azz (perhaps why they do it) and non-pro like to say the least.
My fav' is bustin their azz again when they rejoin, and leaving a witty comment for them to cherish.
~I believe it's Re-joining, not Re-logging....*Re-logging is when u actually exit the entire game and log back in.

well you are right,there are always some butthurt selfproclaimed "pro's" in cf that can't take it when they die quickly. I personally find it annoying too,they rejoin every round sometimes just to erase their fails and have 2 chances in a single round.
I honestly think it shouldn't be banned but it should be made impossible to rejoin a game after you left.(extreme I know) Banning wouldn't help a bit we have noticed that over the years now. If they made it a banable offense I wouldn't mind either way. People that do this are in my dictionary right behind the definition of cowards.
Note: only counts for the extreme people that can't take it that they have died,not directed to users that do it for fun.
