Man i have to pay to play any PUGS or everything..

Yeah, so only if you want to play source competitively, have money, or really have a chance at getting on a team and becoming known, buy ESEA. Otherwise, just play and have fun and find you'll find a team in time. I'll probably do it this summer for fun and to try and get better. It's really not that much.

I was explaining how I was not intending to come off as a smartass, then he disregards the posts content and replies and calls me smartass again.

Besides, the only reason leapy tries to even start something is because of a joke gone bad on Xfire.. lMZ21.gif

There was no logic in your post. You were being a smart ass. The only thing close to logic was pointing out his hypocrisy on a different subject, which is only hypocrisy because of Leapy failed communication on his post.

Maybe try actually looking at **** instead of laughing at it and passing it over with a picture.

This kid helped me so much so all of you should eat a pregnant horse
  • GL on finding a sponsor.

Your post only tries to explain why your picture was a valid response, not that you weren't trying to come off as a smart ass.

Fact is, it's easy to come up with a response that can actually help him, that requires little to no thought behind it.

"It's hard to get a sponsor, especially for a CrossFire team. You'll most likely have to take the initiative with any group of people you want to get a sponsorship from. Try talking to some of the groups that run community events (PUGs, leagues) or talk to some multi-gaming communities (You can find these via google)"

Your post did nothing for him.
  • Getting a sponsorship is a lot like cold calling or talking to girls at a bar.
  • Pick a company that is in the gaming or computer hardware business. Search out their public relations department and show them how you can advertize for them. The popularity of cross fire, as in the amount of people that play along with how much time you spend in game and the people you have a direct communication with. Will influence their decision on if they will back you or not. Pick a company that you believe in. One that you have used and know their products.

    Good luck!!!
  • Like, I know you think having a sponsorship would be cool and all and your friends would be super jealous, but there's not much of a point in this game.
The only thing that a sponsor for this game could do is pay for a ventrilo server. You can already get a spot free in one of the many pug vents.
The competitive scene in this game is far inferior to that of 1.6 and source, so for a sponsor to sponsor your team, is kind of pointless for them. There is really little that you can do for them, and little they can do for you.
Also, before you go asking for a sponsorship, you're probably going to want to actually have a team. That's kind of super important. And before you try to find a sponsorship, you should play in a tournament. Just so the sponsor can gauge how good you are. No one wants to sponsor a bad team.
I remember when I was looking for a sponsor for my 1.6 team I just started emailing a bunch of server companies. Got a few interviews, but the team died before anything wen through.
    Anyways, best of luck.
I'll play ESEA with you this summer big boy.

    YEAH
    You Tell him BOSS!!@!!!

I giggle a little bit on the inside whenever Denxi shuts another guy down over the net. Cool story right?

    On topic:
Most likely you have to earn a sponsor by being a good player on a good team. People tend to go to you as opposed you trying to find a sponsor if that makes sense. Then again, I wouldn't know.

    gibe sponser plos

Because Jon is a ****** bag and would much rather make fun of someone, than answer the damn question..

Jon why did you even reply to the post??

I'm thinking the only way is..

Just type in something like " video game sponsor's"... I've never tried.. But I'm sure if you would ask around someone would help you.. And not be a complete ******* about it.

that explains why Rebirth- has a sponsorship LOLOLOL
  • I know where to get sponsorship .. Go ask you mom for it!

Just wondering heard about it but i don't know where to look or where to find these sponsors
    :( can someone help?[/QUOEither

Either they go to you or you go to them.

Just find a community you like. message them and tell them you are interested in a sponsorship, and see what they say.
  • good luck getting a reputable sponsor for an uncompetitive game.
