Just type in something like " video game sponsor's"... I've never tried.. But I'm sure if you would ask around someone would help you.. And not be a complete ******* about it. -

I did but none of them are with crossfire.. -
I'm not being a bully.. For someone trying to make CrossFire better.. He's doing a pretty ****ty job at it..

Although I am not a fan of Jon, the question is stupid. Information on getting a sponsorship is all over the internet, if your not able to find that information its highly unlikely that your willing to put in the work required to get a real sponsor. Besides most people in CF are not at all the type that a large organization would sponsor.
Besides think of the return any company would get from sponsoring a CF team.
edit: mods also are bias its funny and cute but you have been around long enough to figure that one out already. -
He's done a better job then anyone who has tried. All together he has put his own money it to such a game that has no profit towards him at all.
Plus, you're you, don't really need to say much.
If that's the case, why wouldn't he help this guy out? Other than being a smartass??

You are only seeing the joke part of it, if sponsors were easy to find then everyone would have one.
If you can find him a sponsor, then I welcome you to be more "helpful" than me.
He wasn't asking if they were "easy" to find.. He was asking if someone could help him in the right direction..
I never said I could find him a sponsor, but I am trying to "help" him, so therefore I am being more "helpful" than you. -
Just wondering, why bother trying to get a sponsorship? Wait until you have an established team and the competitive scene here returns. As to your question of what to do once you find one, contact them. Send them an e-mail asking for a sponsorship giving a history of your team and why you want and think you deserve a sponsorship.

Send an inquiry to their contact email with a sponsorship request.
You should include what you will give them in return for sponsorship, some information about the game, what you want from them, etc.

Hmm smart one, I do believe Jon is sponsoring like 2-3 teams?? And think you're team is one of them.. Did you ask him why he is?? (didn't think so, probly made you're peepee hard when he told you he was going to)
And ESG already stated that "if it goes alright, there mite be LANs and what not" -
well you aren't going to get a GOOD sponsor in a free 2 play game if you aren't going to a LAN ( My sf team got sponsored after we placed top 3 at a international LAN event by thermal take for WCG) or if you haven't gone to a big LAN/Placed well in leagues ex: NESL Wogl ect

Jon picked up HammerTime and Avarice before WCG, therefore it gave him a key edge to send them somewhere for the last time.
He sponsored my Counter-Strike 1.6 Team as we've been competiting in ESU for the past 6 years and won it - and not really, Jon is a good friend. I do respect him and appreciate him picking us up after we left unNerved Gaming. Sponsoring us is only a bonus.
He also gets profit from our ESU Tournaments. That also gives him a reason to sponsor us - why talk about such things when you know nothing of the sort?
and did I add - we just picked up a Source Team that is currently the #1 Seed in ESEA-Main, oh sorry - just picked them up for ****s n'giggles.
I could get in a really good team for CSS but... idk how to find SND and scrim matchs i just play random servers..

Then simply compete and hope for the best that you somehow go from Public to Main, to possibly Invite with the big boys.
So i just go here and do what.. Idk how to work with CSS all i know how to do is join a server and download the map.. -

ESEA is the best way to go.. You do have to pay for it, but if you're good at it and want to get noticed.. I'd do that..
And liang, I never said I knew a lot about getting sponsors or how to find them..
Just saying instead of being s smartass like Jon was, try and help him..

Questions like this don't get simple answers, it's like asking "how do i become rich" not easily answered, the picture actually expressed this exact statement. (One does not simply "get" a sponsor)

There was no logic in your post. You were being a smart ass. The only thing close to logic was pointing out his hypocrisy on a different subject, which is only hypocrisy because of Leapy failed communication on his post.
Maybe try actually looking at **** instead of laughing at it and passing it over with a picture.
