Too bad people gettin out logic'd.
Argue for limited GP guns. Go on.
Before limited guns-
Barley any competition, echo 8 was dead, scrims happened in clan channel.
Leagues: Igl
After limited guns-
Competition influx, echo 8 born/reborn.
Leagues: Wogl, esl, few dead ones, esg?
Tournaments: Wem, wcg, wogl's tournaments. -

WOGL was the first and only choice for competition in Cross Fire. Of course Echo 8 increased in activity. Obvious is obvious. People wanted competition, who cared what it was? It was competition. Bad example.
Ryangi, I don't want to start a hostile argument. I know you don't like me and that's fine. Please answer me one question, if you can.
Explain to me your basis on how you decide which weapons are "overpowered". Pubs? Scrims? You mean where more than half of the people cheat with no recoil, no spread, and chams? There are people that can use the M4 and people that can't. There are people that can use the AK-47 and people that can't. There are also people that can use the Scar Light and then people that can't. So what 100%, factual proof and information do you have that says what SHOULD be banned?
The fact of the matter is ---- we CAN'T make a judgement based solely on opinion where games have never been really played on a fair playing field. At least humor me and give us the chance to evaluate the use of these weapons on OUR anti-cheat. If the results of the Beta tournament are the same, where the same weapons are obviously broken and abused, THEN we can make a better judgement. Until then, who is to say what weapons need or don't need to be banned? -
I'm bored and I'll get in on this debate.
SL as an example.
The spray patteren is as easy as the K2. BUT the k2 reload time screws it up. The SL reload time is for sure quicker and should be considered OP. People that M4 or AK cant use the SL
cuz of the spray patteren being wayyy different I seen people that M4/AK plenty of times that go the k2(using the K2 cuz of how E8 is an kind of same recoil as SL) looks so easy to use im gonna use it and end up doing terribad and screwing up cuz they used an M4/AK for ever. -
Some no-lifer please go in-game with Denxi to test the guns.
Review weapon usage after the first ESG matches and wonder why teams are using a mixture of M12/Scar Light plus an AWM.
ESL had a GP only ruleset for their European ladder, was fun with teams using 4 Scar Lights and 1 AWM. -

I hate and cannot use the SL.Do you have a SL I could use atm? I'll go in game with you right now and test the SL/K2
I don't have the SL. -
People will still use the AK, M4, etc. If EVERYONE uses it, then it's fair ground is it not?
"It will be the weapon of choice"
It's STILL preference. We don't have a baseline on our anti-cheat that says, "this weapon is still broken and overpowered even when no one is cheating". When that happens, THEN we can remove it and have a reason to do it. We don't have that right now. We'd be removing a weapon based on opinionated and flawed logic that's existed since the end of Open beta. Seems hard-headed to me. -
I hate and cannot use the SL.
Congratulations but this isn't about you. It will be the weapon of choice. For those others who can't use it (I'd guess it will be a minority) they will just fall back on the M12.
Because I can't use myself as an example of a person who doesn't liek the SL. -
Like I said, wait until the first matches are played. I'd be very surprised if other weapons prove as popular.
If everyone does use the same weapons, surely that will go a long way towards proving they are unbalanced rather than being a great level playing field?
Who isn't going to want a rifle with a great RoF, low recoil (even if just equalling it to M4, for arguement's sake) and a faster reload?
On another note, full wallbang weapons will be allowed too? Nobody can say they aren't bugged. All bullets should lose the same percentage in damage travelling through the same objects.
"but they would enforce a different type of gameplay blah blah"
Well so would making everyone bunny-hop every match. Hopefully that won't happen but with Denxi seemingly involved with rulesets...
