Day 2 Action - WCG Choose Your Side!
Day 2 is nearly complete.
As of the writing of this post Hammertime from the USA were a solid 4-0 and virtually assured a spot in the semi's. With one game to go all that matters now is the seeding.
The Korean and Japan teams started the day off on the main stage in what looked like an early close round. But after some oo'ing and aww'ing and a lot of cheering from the home town, Korea beat Japan.
The rest of the matches were being played and Hammertime was quietly building a lead and would start the day going 2-0.
The Russian team would also not be out-done. Putting up a HUGE performance against the Korean team and also winning their matches it was looking like the winner of a USA-Rus team would start to put the pieces together for the semi's. Russia seemed to have a melt-down. Cracking under the pressure of the Hammer they lost their half 7-1 and couldn't win out the match for a victory. At this point USA would be in the semi's but at what position?
With Both Hammertime and vVv LifeLine making it to the Semi's our version is strongly represented! It's time to choose your team and cheer our guys to victory in the ultimate championship!
There's still lots more action to come including a potential match between USA and CAN. There's been a lot of chirping going on between these two teams over the last while and it looks like it's going to come down to WCG to determine a winner and the next superpower in Cross Fire!
