As mentioned more than a few times in this thread already, we expect that Latin American players will migrate themselves to the SA version over time with new content updates, dedicated servers and a Portuguese team.
Because we own NA/UK and now SA there are currently no plans to implement any hard IP restrictions between our licenses. If this changes in the future, you can be sure that there will be plenty of notice.
Cool, but IP restrictions should be implemented IMO as I can't see Brasilians opting to sign up for a new version with less guns and lag since they become accustomed to it:D -

You will NOT lose items on your NA account. Your NA account will remain intact, however the SA version of CF is a completely new version of the game with new characters and accounts.
However with better latency and what will sure to be large content updates and a dedicated Portuguese team, players in Latin America will make the switch.
Like a bawss. Great job Saidin, our CF experience will be much more enjoyable now. -

Sorry, I have very strong feelings on this issue, and that guy was trying to say he'd stay here just to make us mad basically. -

Good luck. You know how BRs always cry "kika mini ping" and then they kick people with low pings?
Well now the tables have turned. The BRs will be the ones being kicked, because they lag. They won't have numbers like they do now.
And who says I play in open rooms?
Set in a closed room with my friends, is much better than people like crying at all ...
Until I'm angry that these BR's are repeating the "kika mini ping''
If I do not want to be bothered, I do not bother anyone. -

Oh thought you meant something else, my bad xP
Doesn't matter to me if you play in closed rooms. -

To be fair he said you will lose everything guns/chars etc if you switch to CF LA - Not that you would lose them on CF NA/UK:p -
Gm Saidin, if you're still on the topic, can I suggest something?
Some things translated from English to Portuguese are a bit "ridiculous" (do not mean to criticize, but it is strange that a person playing for 2 years and see "AWM Red Dragon" and translated to the see "AWM Dragão Vermelho" is odd)
Just a suggestion, at least the names of the weapons that they are in English, is more "beautiful" to read -

up up up upupupupupup! -
OK LET ME GET THIS STRAIT
YOU'VE IMPLEMENTED THEIR OWN VERSION
YOU HAVE NO PLANS OF RESTRICTING THEIR IP
YOU WANT THEM ALL TO MIGRATE TO THE OTHER VERSION SPONTANEOUSLY
WHAT I THINK U SHOULD HAVE DONE
-ESTABLISH LATIN SERVER
-IP RESTRICT IMMEDIATELY, NO NEW LA REGISTRATION
DONE!
INSTEAD OF MAKING THINGS MORE COMPLEX
BY MAKING THEM SUITING TO THEIR ENVIRONMENT BY MEANING THROWING EVERYTHING THEY'VE WORKED FOR ALL THESE YEARS
Sounds Like more money making to me, Except this time, It's actually SUITABLE

Disagree on restricting IP
If we played so long without being "stopped" why now "stop" the NA and UK players?
For me, it would ... open, even though most players are "jumping" for joy in knowing that a good chunk of Latinos are getting out of the servers in NA/UK -

If not put the server ip br strip of Brazil soon because I think everyone will stop playing
ahaa u make perfect sense -
As for right now, unfortunately, both games are separate entities. You will have to start again. Do not fear, though your account will not be wiped.
It is a new version all together, and you will most likely will be getting tons of patches.
this doesnt really effect me since im from texas, but they should hold exp events and give out higher GP per mission/match so that players in latin america can catch up to what they have started in this version. -
[GM]Saidin wrote: »This is a whole new version (Portuguese language version). A new account will be required for the Latin America service.
So no you will not lose your stuff on your NA account, but you will not be able to transfer it to SA.
Portuguese language? omg, i don't speak portuguese, just english and spanish --'
