Cross Fire heads to Latin America!
Attention all Cross Fire fans in Latin America!
Today we are pleased to announce that the Portuguese version of Cross Fire will launch in closed beta on December 9th, 2011! Latin American players can sign-up for a chance to play in the beta at http://br.crossfire.z8games.com.
The LA version of Cross Fire promises to offer reduced latency with servers hosted in Brasil, a dedicated Portuguese GM and Support team, and all the action, events and content updates that you've come to expect from our NA/UK version of Cross Fire!
We would like to invite our Latin American Cross Fire fans and players to check out the new website, sign up for the beta, and join in the discussion on the community forums.
The Latin American service is a different version of Cross Fire that will receive similar and consistent updates and content as the NA/UK version, but tuned specifically for the LA market. A Portuguese version of the Z8Games website will be released in the future and will serve the South American region in all the same capacities that our current Z8Games website does for CF NA/UK.
Closed Beta has started! Check the LA website for more info!

Please keep in mind the website might go up and down with all the new members flocking to see it!Edit: I have a question. Will I lose all my stuff?
All accounts can still play CF NA/UK, and keep their items, however account items/weapons/data will not be transfered to CF SA as they do not have the same items. (They are further behind but will receive constant updates to catch up as CF NA/UK has to the Korean.) -
Edit: I have a question. Will I lose all my stuff?
As for right now, unfortunately, both games are separate entities. You will have to start again. Do not fear, though your account will not be wiped.
It is a new version all together, and you will most likely will be getting tons of patches. -

At this time, anyone on the current green region picture can access either version. This might however change in the future, but G4Box holds license to these countries and so they can be allowed on both, it is likely to see the split soon though.
We are not likely to see all South Americans move in the first few months (especially in closed beta), however it is very likely to see as the game progresses that many of the current ones will move over, and new ones will go to the SA versions to play in their desired environment. -

Really? So south Americans won't be able to make accounts eventually?
THIS IS THE BEST NEWS EVER!!!
Maybe Cross Fire will actually start being fun again! I won't get kicked 3/4 of the games that I play -
This is for all people trying to register.
There is an error at the moment, and chances are, it will be fixed ASAP. Your accounts will most likely not have been registered, and the registration process will most likely have to start again.
We apologize for any inconveniences. -

This is a whole new version (Portuguese language version). A new account will be required for the Latin America service.
So no you will not lose your stuff on your NA account, but you will not be able to transfer it to SA. -

I never said that. I said it was possible. -
nooooo rex dont take away our excitement
At this point in time a hard IP restriction is not in the plans.
We expect that as the SA version gets updated with content, that the services provided by a Portuguese GM and Support staff, the lower pings and in general a game catered more towards Latin America will become the draw for many players.
