If it really is a scrimming channel, then why wouldnt Z8 just MAKE it a scrimming channel?
I think some people dont understand that E8 is a PUBLIC CHANNEL.

pubs are better in alpha or west coast anyway

I get kicked out of E8 simply because I don't use a AK47, M4, or AWM.
I'm not using ZP weapons or characters, just not those 3.

I'm much too time-stressed to read through this whole thread, so I'll drop a few facts here.
Echo 8 was never designed for public gaming. If you knew what happened back in the old days, people didn't want to "scrim" in the clan server for specific reasons. I'm pretty sure it was denxi and his colossal crew that started playing in Echo 8 [I'm not 100% sure, it could have been a server before that] and only looking for scrims, not pubs. Eventually, due to the obvious fact that the game always migrates to where everyone else is playing. Everybody started using Echo 8 as a scrim channel.
Every scrim ends, and people have to find a new one. Instead, some people would join public rooms and play. At first, it was all nice, but then people began thinking that they were amazing and that pubbing there was the key to stardom.
There are no set rules for Echo 8. There were never any rules for Echo 8 pubs. WOGL came and saw that everybody that was in their leagues played Echo 8, so they chose that channel. Now all of the people that are new / don't remember assume that WOGL chose that channel and everybody migrated there.
Once again, there are no set rules for Echo 8 pubs. When I play there [every now and then, because Bravo and Alpha pubs are much too easy and boring] I use whatever gun I please. And rarely does anybody go anti-ZP on me. If they do, I just tell them off for thinking that this server has rules in the first place.
So, how to avoid this situation? Make friends, don't go over the limit [ie. don't bring in a SPOP, armor, and an M12-s to Echo 8], and don't be egotistic. If anybody tries to show their ego to you, avoid it. They'll be told off by another egotistic fellow anyways.
