BTW, the discs are in .iso format, just burn directly to DVD.

Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit failed. 5mins bw alpha 7 max 5v5 room low settings. Trying windows xp now.

I have a Windows XP SP3 disc laying around my house. o..o It's a burned copy, but it works fine.

well i installed new windows no sp3 and the black screen time is reduced...now its still no more than 1 minute..try to set resolution at 1024x768 and the same in crossfire video settings....i did that and this black screen almost gone

Kinda load fast now takes 1-2mins, last time took 4-5mins so it's okay i can wait 1-2mins.

Look we dont need more ram before the "Zombie No-good for nothing patch" came out we didnt got this black screen now it aint our pc my friend has 2gb of ram and my other 1 gb of ram now these is z8games they have to fix it come on z8games or w/e company come fix this problem and stop bieng lazy sitting there eating your food for almost a month already

Okay. Before I request a close, I want to say the solution I found that can maximize your game performance.


First, re-install Windows. This alone, may not be enough to help, but it can have a significant effect on your all around experience with your system.

Download, and install, a fresh copy of Cross Fire. DO NOT INSTALL ANY MODS! REZ OR SOUND AT ALL!

Before you run Cross Fire, make sure you have the Entire Z8 Games folder set as an exclusion. This helps to avoid any issues caused by the anti-virus/firewall attempting to stop Cross Fire from doing anything.

After doing this, open up the Task Manager (Ctrl + Alt + Delete), and then close any and all non-vital system processes. If you're not sure if something is vital or not, leave it be.

Next, run Cross Fire like normal. Play, and enjoy a decrease in loading time.



If you can afford it, upgrade your RAM also. I was only able to because my friends computer shit to bed, so I got his old RAM cards. I would recommend upgrading to 2 GB if it's at all possible for you.

Follow the above steps, excluding the RAM upgrade, and you should not only see an improvement in Cross Fire, but in your over-all rig performance.
