The point appears to be separating the casual community from the competitive because he deems them... different(?) and shouldnt be able to ever go near them. Bluntly put, he doesnt want to allow casual players into his OT threads

He'd do well in the 1960's

To which I know Denxi will have to criticize me for saying that

You're a complete moron who can't understand anything he reads. You agreed with an admitted troll opinion. Learn to read and comprehend or gtfo out of my threads.

As I said and Polleus agreed with, let the competitve lft threads stay in the competitve forum. Due to when mods move it to clan more pub people try to recruit them. We say no and the pub clans get mad..just let competitve lft threads stay in the competitve part. No harm done.

There we are. The typical insult.

This is what your thread essentially means.

Why dont you want the casual players to join in the discussions? And be honest.
"SO WHY DO YOU INSIST ON TRYING TO MERGE THESE TWO VERY DIFFERENT GROUPS?"

Stop twisting words and attempt to comprehend what he's saying.
That's probably asking too much, though.

I agree with competitive LFT threads in the clan section. A competitive player isnt looking for a pub clan. Im ok with that

Funny how someone had to mention and explain that before you were able to understand it. I picked up on it day 1 but I guess your brain must work a little slower then others.

"SO WHY DO YOU INSIST ON TRYING TO MERGE THESE TWO VERY DIFFERENT GROUPS?"

I explained it. I explained it in my OP, and I explained it in my response to Polleus' troll post.

You know what Giggle? I'm pretty tired of the mass amounts of stupidity that come out of you on the majority of threads that have a semi-complex point. You're just an average forumer with powers to infract. How the hell you got them, I don't know, maybe you jumped on the ****-sucking bandwagon with LadyShy.

See you when you get not-stupid, I'll ask someone once in a while when your logical capabilities have passed the average BR pubstar telling zero that his "acont GM CF"

I hit on that the second I read the OP about an hour ago. Im not interested in that part of Denxi's original statement otherwise I wouldve quoted it. Im stating my dissagreement... not my agreements.

Exactly Polleus' point. You'll continue to insult and attack everyone for no particular reson other than the fact im not a competitive player. Ive said nothing different than what Dot and Polleus have said, yet you attack me. Way to play into my traps guys.

So it took you up until an hour ago to figure out competitive players post their LFT threads here because they're looking for a competitive team, which are non-existent in clan discussion.

    I rest my case.

EDIT: LMAO he said "Way to play into my traps." You're such a clever mod, Giggletron.

    Now whos twisting words lol.

I said I noticed it ages ago... Did I post about NOT allowing LFT threads in Competitive section and then changing my mind? No I didnt. I didnt comment on it at all...

    POLLEUS WAS TROLLING.

    Real.

I deliberatly said what Dot and Polleus said in a different way to spark a reaction out of Denxi because I knew he would attack me for saying it like that. I wanted to see if he would live up to my expectations of him and he did.

    Meh whatever.

Ill let you lot deal with whatever crap you arent trying to force upon the forum because you dont like it. I gotta hop out for a bit.

Quote me where you said you noticed it ages ago. Until then, I'll quote you.
I hit on that the second I read the OP about an hour ago
Sounds to me like you figured it out after reading the OP.

Why then, if you noticed it ages ago, were these topics still being moved. Instead of gathering the mods and saying "We should leave the LFT threads of competitive players in the competitive section, where competitive teams/players visit the most often, instead of moving them to clan discussion which is filled with pub clans spamming their clans." you sat back and let it happen. You're either a bad mod or a bad liar.
  • "We deserve leniency but we act worse than everyone else".

If I was to make a post to incite someone to have a negative reaction I would get a warning/infraction for trolling. But it's alright for a Mod to do it?

    No.

They act worse than everyone else because it's the collision between them and everyone else that makes them act that way. So take away the problem for both communities by seperating them.

    Not hard.

The last pages of this thread tells me that the "competitive" players need to drop the terrible attitude displayed.

Can't really justify a change when, to the rest of the competitive community, the reason for it is "we're better than those idiots".

    1. Zero's sig.

    2. ANOTHER GANG EXAMPLE.

To the Neo-Nazi's the seperation from the black gang is bcause the black gang is black (which is bad), and that they themselves are better and deserve to be seperate. Not for the actual reason; to keep them from beating the **** out of each other.

IS THAT SEPERATION STILL NOT JUSTIFIED?
  • most teams in this game are bad and therefore should not be considered anything more than a clan. so just keep them where they belong, in the clan section. players who are worth picking up in noteworthy teams get contacted through xfire anyway
  • If you can't communicate with a friendly conversational tone towards staff (Raging at Giggletron for whichever reason), theres clearly an issue on your end.

I'd happily help to see this accommodated (lft/guidethreads in competitive), but the reasons shown are just damn weak.
Can't be that hard to drop the ego for two seconds and not jump around trolling in every thread.

    (and i deleted that post.)

My issue is I dislike stupid people who insist they aren't stupid. IDGAF if someone else thinks they aren't stupid. If I see a reason to consider them stupid, and they insist that that reason is false (without any solid logic) then I will call them stupid.

I don't understand why it is so hard for people to comprehend that you can fix something even if there is another cause. Especially when it's as easy as not moving threads. That means, in order to help a situation get better, you'd have to do LESS work. AND YOU STILL DON'T WANT TO.

I've explained how competitive players clashing with public players causes that ego ****. I've explained that by allowing the competitive players to post threads (that would normally force them to clash with public players) in an area which WOULDN'T have them clash with public players, you'd get rid of the ego **** among public players.
  • I want to, by all means. I think it would help to some extent.

We're still going to see 'competitive' players trolling everywhere though, so my doubt is whether or not it would be appreciated since its something helping you, without you having to change anything to better your persona - which is the problem in the first place.

Whether or not it's appreciated is irrelevant, so long as it works.

Just get MODs to do their job better in other sections. Allow competitive players to turn their ego solely on one another, hopefully you'll get drive out of that. (SF Forums anybody?)

Those two example I posted much earlier in the thread are this.

They wouldn't be allowed to run their ego here either though, so we're kind of back to the problem of an unwillingness to change the attitude.
Can't really solve the issue of horrible attitudes with simple logistics.

    Yes they would rofl.

You said that they run their ego in pub sections. Obviously it's because the modding their isn't good enough to stop them. Beef up the focus their, and keep the focus the same here.

I'm not trying to solve any attituees, even though that might be a side-effect.
