[Ghost Mode]EQ Sound Settings
Hello there, My name is Ceejay.
From such a long time that I kept these settings to myself and 2 others, I've decided to spread it around now to help out people that Play and Pinpoints in Ghost Mode. If you have a suck-ish sound settings, well I'll give you a better one. I hope it would help you and someday you would get better at it. It will be hard at the beginning, no worries I was having problems with it too when I first-used it.
First of all.. if you don't know what an EQ Sound Settings looks like, it looks like this:
X-Fi:
It would be a better sound if you have any type of X-Fi(soundcard) .
Second, just to tell you this game does NOT support surround sound,
1) So first just set your settings to headphones mode.
2) Turn off EAX effects and turn off CMSS 3D and 3D headphone. As it won't do you any good with 2D miles audio(which is the system crossfire uses). It's best not to have. You are free to try it, as everyone has different ears. Maybe you'll like CMS 3D-Headphone mode in stereo only games...
If you are done these two steps, try it first in game. And if it's not any better than your older settings, I guess you have to do more things with your settings:
1) Un-select "Synchronize with Control Panel"
2) Set the windows speakers configuration to 5.1(Optional)
Once you've done that, practice tweaking the mixer settings. I prefer lowering the amount of bass frequencies and raising the highs as lots of bass tends to drown out footsteps.
3) If you got Realtek installed, go to the Playback Sound --> Right click --> Properties --> Enhancements --> Check Environment:Setting=Living Room --> Check Loudness Equalization.
That's all. Have fun. If it didn't help you at all, I'm sorry :P

Thanks and you're welcome )

I'll be sure to test this out when I get my internet turned back on. If it works, which I highly doubt as I said in the GM thread, then I will apologize.
EDIT: On second thought, those settings look very familiar. Probably because I've used them before and yes they make breath louder but it doesn't let you hear it further away. I'm still skeptical about you, and you releasing this thread a couple days after multiple people calling you out seems kind of suspicious. Anyways, congrats to anyone that can hear breath across the map using these settings. obviously you have the same "bug" that ceejay has  -

Please go ahead and test.
I don't need any apology, JS. If you have such a great sound card/headphones it would help a lot.[MOD]Talonblaze wrote: »Thread moved, now keep it on topic. This is not to discuss other players.
Thank you. -
Anyways, settings are simply settings and should not turn u from a random to someone capable of dropping xx's on "known" players.
This is simply my opinion, therefor it should not bother any one.
I love u, will u marry me ?
I am too speechless to answer.SooperPickle wrote: »

Nah. Settings doesn't mean you'd get the same " bug " as I do. I don't know how it works and anyways it doesn't "always" happen. Just a couple. -

However was I right about who u previously where ? I'm simply curious.
Be lucky it was an edit. Such topics can get you a 5 point infraction. You can take it up in PM's regardless of the case.
I already noted that such was not to be posted here. -

If your 'sound card' isn't like an X-fi then I guess you have to get Realtek and its Gaming Equalizer.

Pretty smart to come up with something like this. I can tell a lot of effort there! But for what i see there is you telling people to change the setting around. It will only create a different sound effect through the headphone but its WON'T make anything louder.
If you didn't notice, Breath's sound and Silencer's sound are the BASS. But u never mentioned any adjustment for the Bass in this "Sound Setting". Explain me how u boost the BASS sound by simply changing those setting "on" and "off" please? Or else this thing is trash.
Btw, 600 views on this thread but a few replies without a single positive feedback can tell the result of these setting. Nice try. -

Lol thankyou... Sound settings will not increase breath so that you can hear through-out the map explaning that this is your "Cover" and Why don't you make a viddeo going lets say 81-4 or somthing in a pub? Frap it or growler it... If you could give this evidence People will think twice about you.Beat Dre btway might be best for music..But svck ass for GM. Im using a Studio one myself. Its good cuz it make the ak spray sound softer but deffinitely not the best for GM. Another ns try
Chrome uses dr.dre Beats and HE SUCKS at PP... All he does is spray and his game sense is amazing. So thats how he "Pinpoints" I've tested his sound distance and its a shorter sound rep than rakesh's sound... And rakesh's headphones cost 3$ W/O sale... So it explains that Drs are not even close to the best headphones for breath. Again like slm said Nice try. Sorry dude but your cover didn't work. -

Bass boost is generally not a helpful thing to have on as it causes clipping at lower volume levels. However, I know you can hear breathe, silencer sounds better(silencer sounds affects your PP, that's why I don't use high dB for Bass Boost).
Without any " Realtek " which I have the controller audio as " Microsoft " I just go to Enhancements and turn on " Bass Boost " (Simply can turn it on and off) You can just go to Settings and you can set your own dB. For me I just keep it to 3dB, somehow it works well. I didn't bother adding " Bass Boost " to my steps, cuz it's not that helpful for me. Just a little bit. Well, thanks for letting me add more of it.
I know Dr.Dre beats are for music officially, but there are certain different types.Beat Dre btway might be best for music..But svck ass for GM. Im using a Studio one myself. Its good cuz it make the ak spray sound softer but definitely not the best for GM. Another ns try
Headphones/Earphones would also depend on your Sound Settings or Sound Cards. Not only by itself.

I'll be working on a video soon, trying to get to my friend's PC so I can record the game clearly and fast. But he doesn't have any settings that I do, Anyways I'll just bring my Headphones.
As I told SLM, there are different types and it doesn't depend by itself. Sound card/Sound Settings .
