Please consider this suggestion. I really think it's a good easily implemented idea, and if it's not, I'd appreciate an explanation as to why. Thank you, I'll stop bumping for no reason now.
Oh, im considering it. Im just bumping cus I like the suggestion as well.
Imagine Laboratory SnD. The GR would have to literally run to get cover. -

Well all the ghost mode maps right now are kind of dark so you can see the ghost better or something? idk. but it would be kind of hard to see the ghosts on a light map like eagle eye unless the make them show up in black tent which would make them look really cool!

I think the vise versa can be associated though. It would be awsome to play in a SnD match where it was night time. -

I hadn't really considered that. Now that I think about it, your right gm maps are mostly darker textures. So it might make it a little more difficult to spot flashing ghosts on a bright map like EE or castle, but I don't think it'd be too bad. -

Let's all think about this for a sec, SND maps and GM maps are way different than each other, each map in this game is designed to be perfect on it's mod.

+1. It would be very interesting how the maps would lay out and work in a different mode.
I think the SnD maps being played as GM would be tougher since there's no lights or smoke or anything of that nature and it would be hard as well for SnD to be on GM maps since you have all these awkward routes. -

They're designed very different, but I see that as a good thing. It will make for some unique games.As you can see SD maps are way bigger than GM maps, LostRelics for example, BL starts up there and can reach A site easily. How you defend that site? In fact, adding more maps for SD will suppose a problem for ESL and other leagues.

Would it really be to hard to make the maps compatible for both modes? They both have Bombs, plant defuse, but one has an invisible team and the other doesn't. Why not have eagle eyes for GM? Why not Lab for SnD?
It would make for close quarters SnD intense rounds. And more open grounds for an interesting GM game. I can't say I understand what it takes to make either mode work, but one would think it'd be easy to make this possible.
Im not a big GM fan but SnD on one of em GM maps would be pimpin' epic. :cool:
