they basically the same.. dpi as for dot per inches. CPI as counts or something per inch.

DPI comes out a little bigger in numbers, just a little.
some manifacture use DPI, like Razer, logitech n most others, but steelseriese chose to use CPI instead, maybe they want something special..

DPI or CPI it's actually the real speed of ur mouse tracking.
Forever119 u little ******ed Logitech fanboy, the moment I hear u say u put XAI in display, I knew right Away something was wrong, u probly don't even have it. then U started blabing about ur sensitivity and I can tell u right now, I play on 1600dpi/cpi and 4sens in css. The very fact u are recommending Dpi setting shows u are stereotypical, CPI AND DPI IS THE SAME THING. Infact cpi=Counts per inch is actually the more correct term since Dpi is a printing term. ******ed Chinese ****T just becoz u didn't use Xai doesn't mean u have to dis it. When u are first choosing mouse, U have to check if U are using a PALM or a Claw grip, then u can check the sensor and price. Every body have different preferences, something that works for u might not work for them. The thing taht makes Xai different is it's MS 1.1 shape and the Driverless LCD, I mean DRIVERLESS as in u can literaly set Polling rate and CPI and ANgle snapping and EXact Aim With out even Touching the computer, wherer as logitech g9x or G500, u have to atleast download the driver once, and can't set the setting with out driver. Next Time don't comment When u don't even have the Unit. Stop feeding False information to others.
  • XAI > DA

DA doesn't feel right with my grip unlike the XAI because it's perfectly level

    Agreed.

1.1 for medium sized people. 3.0 for big people/big hands (like me).

This is crossfire darlings, A,B and Mid. Thats it. Small angles, thin corridors. Thats it. This is not battlefield or delta force, you are not working in a 360 degree environment or driving tanks or shooting RPGs.

All these mice with super specs and high DPIs are useless here.

Intelli series, default/standard DPI, and Zero In-game sensitivity will do you proud.

    Oldschool.

This. Definitely. Although I must admit to owning a Xai, but I play some other games aswell.
  • Xai <3 + Qck Large

True you don't need a high tech mouse for CrossFire, Intelli 1.1 is just as good as any other £50+ mouse. But if you only use your computer for CrossFire I really feel for you.
  • I have the Xai, and I must say, it's a great mouse. However, I hear a lot about tracking problems for people who own it. I have the 9H mousepad, which was designed specifically for the Xai. It tracks perfectly, and in the year I've owned the Xai I've never once had the clean the sensor or mousepad. The only downside I can think of is that it's a bit small. I'm a medium-sensitivity gamer, which means it'll occasionally track off the pad, but that's very rare. But yeah, if budget isn't an issue, I would have to say the xai + 9H is the best thing on the market.
