  • As sensor quality etc might be an issue for some, it won't be for you.

Pick a mouse with a grip that fits you. Any mouse on the market will suffice in terms of performance. (Granted quality might differ).
  • I have owned many mouses over my years of gaming, and I believe that the XAI is one of the best, but it's all preference. I liked the Logitech G5 grip, and I think that the Razer Mamba is also good.
  • i got XAI RUSE edtion.. i never even open the box. just for display on my desk.
Razer Lachesis 5600 dpi used for 3 months, now pack back into box display aswell.
that twin eye laser engine just a bad idea ..
Razer Deathadder back into the box, i don like the grip of it.. pretty good laser engine,n very good tracking..
Mad Catz Cyborg R.A.T.9 wireless same engine as Razre mamba n Lachesis.
i returned it,after a week use. very good cosomize ,look like transformers.
the best gotta said, but the tracking issues sucks just like any twin eye laser engine ,such as Razer Laser.

right now i am using logitech G9X. very good in shpe for me, claw style, fits me, cuz i use 2 finger to press n others to move the mouse.
    2x modes u can change,n weigh modifications.
the best laser engine i had ever use.i tracks faster than razer with same dpi setted.
same engine as the Steelseries XAI.
(pretty good for small hand users)
  • Deathadder will track better on a cloth pad. .
as for high DPI laser will be better with hard surface.

as for my Logitech i found it pretty good at any surface. . but i prefer the hard surface, for more controling feels. but if u want something smooth,n ur hand for rest a little bit, go with the cloth. . .

stay away from the Razer . . n i hear XAI's got bad drivers..

    very that
  • The Xai's easily the best out there right now, banned from most LANs though, due to the whole open storage it has.
Very smooth tracking, reliable, and a great shape.
Though imo, you may as well buy a Kinzu. They're practically the same, unless of course you need the 4 extra buttons.

Xais are driverless, so no worries there.

Logitech G500 or G9x had the exact same laser engine..
no need drivers too, n cheaper price, more customize. . . .

or maybe u like Xai ,just bcuz of the name like me?
i got Xai Ruse edition from UK shipped to NYC.. just for display lolzz (forgive me)

I haven't had much experience with Logitech, apart from an MX518 which I loved :p

But yah, Xai's an epic name, but then again so is Kinzu :p
I love the white one too, did you get the white one with RUSE up the buttons, or the one with the huge RUSE logo on the palm area?

the Huge RUSE on the PALM it's looks sick man.. but i don't even want to open the box lolzzzz..
i am using the G9X right now..
the engine it's exactly the same as Xai. samething goes with G500..
    i prefer go with G500 ,since u like the MX518 ..
it's basicaly an upgrade of MX518,but with better engine..

    it's onsale one www.newegg.com now.

intelli 1.1a > all of them

    Agreed.

1.1 for medium sized people. 3.0 for big people/big hands (like me).

This is crossfire darlings, A,B and Mid. Thats it. Small angles, thin corridors. Thats it. This is not battlefield or delta force, you are not working in a 360 degree environment or driving tanks or shooting RPGs.

All these mice with super specs and high DPIs are useless here.

Intelli series, default/standard DPI, and Zero In-game sensitivity will do you proud.

    Oldschool.

I know 99THC uses a logitech, and if you go for that it is fine. However, make sure you adjust to low sensitivity.

On the abyssus - I have one. It's not bad for AUGing scoped headshots, and 1 taps, but the moment you pick up and AK or M4, you have no recoil control at all. It is far too highly tuned.

If you got a xai, you need to down-tune it when you get it. No fancy settings!

so you are using the abyssus atm, your settings on that mouse? maybe i will take it.
  • Noooo, go back a page and read my replies.

I have an Abyssus... I don't use it. For the reason of it being too highly tuned.

I have and USE my intelli 3.0.

I ment b4 the summer.. and why the hating?
  • get the logitech g9x if u have smaller hands, g500 for bigger hand with palm grip..

they had exact same laser engine as the Steelseries Xai, But for less money , n way more customize. .

and as for DPI or CPI , u don't really need anything more than 1000 ,for FPS gamings.
i had set my DPI at 1000 with 1 mouse sense in game, polling rate of 500..

also remember to get a big mouse pad ,make sure u can make 120 degree turns with low sense u play with, once u get used to the low sens, u will see the results . .
  • mhh

i have a Razer imperator and i think it one of the best mouses of Razer it has 5600 Dpi and a controllign center i play with it in cf with 0 mouse sensity its awesome :P

they basically the same.. dpi as for dot per inches. CPI as counts or something per inch.

DPI comes out a little bigger in numbers, just a little.
some manifacture use DPI, like Razer, logitech n most others, but steelseriese chose to use CPI instead, maybe they want something special..

DPI or CPI it's actually the real speed of ur mouse tracking.
