An update on the FED audit from a fellow anon...bleachy74@aol.com wrote:his should of been all over the news????? Even finding the PDF file was not easy to find from GAO website.
I've attached the PDF to look at.
If that $16 Trillion had been divided equally among every man, woman and child in the US (310 million of us) each of us would have received over $50,000. Our economy would be humming, banks & corporations would have gotten their share.
On the other hand, if that $16 Trillion had been divided equally among all the people on this planet (not quite 7 billion) every person would have received more than $2200. That's the scale of this crime against humanity.

PASS THIS ALONG, USA SHOULD BE IN REVOLT RIGHT NOW......
The first ever GAO (Government Accountability Office) audit of the Federal Reserve was carried out in the past few months due to the Ron Paul, Alan Grayson Amendment to the Dodd-Frank bill, which passed last year. Jim DeMint, a Republican Senator, and Bernie Sanders, an independent Senator, led the charge for a Federal Reserve audit in the Senate, but watered down the original language of the house bill (HR1207), so that a complete audit would not be carried out.
Ben Bernanke, Alan Greenspan, and various other bankers vehemently opposed the audit and lied to Congress about the effects an audit would have on markets.
Nevertheless, the results of the first audit in the Federal Reserve’s nearly 100 year history were posted on Senator Sanders webpage earlier this morning. What was revealed in the audit was startling:
$16,000,000,000,000.00 (TRILLION) had been secretly given out to US banks and corporations and foreign banks everywhere from France to Scotland. From the period between December 2007 and June 2010, the Federal Reserve had secretly bailed out many of the world’s banks, corporations, and governments.
The Federal Reserve likes to refer to these secret bailouts as an all-inclusive loan program, but virtually none of the money has been returned and it was loaned out at 0% interest.
Why the Federal Reserve had never been public about this or even informed the United States Congress about the $16 trillion dollar bailout is obvious - the American public would have been outraged to find out that the Federal Reserve bailed out foreign banks while Americans were struggling to find jobs.
To place $16 trillion into perspective, remember that GDP of the United States is only $14.12 trillion.
The entire national debt of the United States government spanning its 200+ year history is only $14.5 trillion.
The budget that is being debated so heavily in Congress and the Senate is “only” $3.5 trillion.
Take all of the outrage and debate over the $1.5 trillion deficit into consideration, and swallow this Red pill:
There was no debate about whether $16,000,000,000,000 would be given to failing banks and failing corporations around the world.
In late 2008, the TARP Bailout bill was passed and loans of $800 billion were given to failing banks and companies. That was a blatant lie considering the fact that Goldman Sachs alone received 814 billion dollars.
As is turns out, the Federal Reserve donated $2.5 trillion to Citigroup, while Mo rgan Stanley received $2.04 trillion. The Royal Bank of Scotland and Deutsche Bank, a German bank, split about a trillion and numerous other banks received hefty chunks of the $16 trillion.
This is a clear case of socialism for the rich and rugged, you’re-on-your-own individualism for everyone else.’ Bernie Sanders(I-VT)
When you have conservative Republican stalwarts like Jim DeMint(R-SC) and Ron Paul(R-TX) as well as self identified Democratic socialists like Bernie Sanders all fighting against the Federal Reserve, you know that it is no longer an issue of Right versus Left.
When you have every single member of the Republican Party in Congress and progressive Congressmen like Dennis Kucinich sponsoring a bill to audit the Federal Reserve, you realize that the Federal Reserve is an entity onto itself, which has no oversight and no accountability.
Americans should be swelled with anger and outrage at the abysmal state of affairs when an unelected group of bankers can create money out of thin air and give it out to megabanks and supercorporations like Halloween candy.
If the Federal Reserve and the bankers who control it believe that they can continue to devalue the savings of Americans and continue to destroy the US economy, they will have to face the realization that their trillion dollar printing presses can be stopped.
[Regardless of whether this money is fiat money (money printed with nothing of value to back it), if it is a currency forced on society and the world, with enforcement by the Fed, IRS, the U.S. military, et al, --which it is-- the acts of the Federal Reserve are, in essence, the transfer of greater wealth to the rich insider banks and corporations, while the rest of the world grows poorer, and as the value of this funny money grows less and less in purchasing power.
These insider banks, etc., then, exchange this funny money for gold and silver, the real wealth of the world, which, then, reinflates the world with more and more devaluing federal reserve notes. This, then, creates hyper-inflation, increasing the cost of all resources and commodities, while gold and silver climb to never-seen-before levels of value.
This is how the Federal Reserve insiders steal the wealth of the world and why the rich get richer while the poor get poorer. It's the world's largest Ponzi scheme! The Federal Reserve is nothing but a front for a small group of families who run a very large and successful white collar criminal Ponzi scheme.
This criminal institution should be seized by the U.S. Treasury department and all assets frozen, and returned to the coffers of the U.S. Treasury in order to settle the U.S. debt and help begin to balance the U.S. deficit. All banks (listed below) should be forced to return the money received by the Federal Reserve.
All families in ownership of the Fed and their agents should be located, caught, tried and jailed for grand larceny and treason against the people of the U.S.A. All government agents who protect and help facilitate this criminal organization should be fired from their positions and similarly tried and jailed for grand larceny and treason.
Meanwhile, Congress should return our country to its original monetary system ( Lincoln greenbacks backed by precious metals) and, again, do its duty to regulate the coining of the currency of America as per the U.S. Constitution.]
This list of institutions that received the most money from the Federal Reserve can be found on page 131 of the GAO Audit and are as follows.
Citigroup: $2.5 trillion ($2,500,000,000,000)
Morgan Stanley: $2.04 trillion ($2,040,000,000,000)

although how do we know if the majority of the people will put that (~$50,000) into good use?
and it may temporarily pull the economy out of the recession, but what will happen after the ~year of upscale? most likely that money would have gone to companies based in other countries, seeing as most items bought are not domestic. if it is given out, then it will be spent on every day things. If the money is given to bank, then it will be loaned out for things like houses, which is going to pay for a myriad of workers.
also, there are many families (including mine) which wouldnt need that money. it would be better for it to be given to banks so it can be more focused on the people that NEED it. The only thing it would be beneficial for in my family is to help college funds grow, but other than that it is not a necessity. we dont need loans (other than a mortgage of course) although if we were given 50 grand we sure as hell wouldnt give it away. it would be better for us to not have a choice than to have the chance to give it away. and i am sure there are many many other families with a similar scenario.
PS if you think this is a juvenile response, know that i am only 15 years old, and i am basing this all on a standard level economics course in my high school. (1 semester, not even a full year course) so i am far from an expert on the topic. -

Its more to do with the money these banks have squandered and then re-printed out of thin air, all on the backs of your countries labours to repay this debt in the future. All done with no regard to your government or the people.

although that is the large banks. i am not suggesting that the FED gives it to the macro-economy banks (in the US) but the micro economy. the best way to stimulate the macro-economy (IMO) is first stimulate the micro-economy. By giving it to trusted local banks, those banks will give it to the people who need it, and not just give their CEO and board of directors huge bonuses. There are County-wide banks everywhere here, and they actually care about the well-being of the united states. if they are trusted with the selections of loans, then the micro-economies everywhere will be stimulated, boosting the macro-economy of the US.
Also:
its Ben Bernanke and the FED that have been doing the quantitative easing (printing of extra money causing an enormous amount of inflation (although not hyperinflation) that you were describing. Although i still disprove of the large companies, but they are not all the blame.
and...
Ben Bernanke gives money to Goldman Sachs unwisely because he use to be one of the lead officials in Goldman Sachs. For some reason he was appointed to head of the FED even though he has a subjective agenda. He is a smart man, but he is biased and doesn't have a huge interest in the american people. -

To ponder on a small part of the medias arsenal. Music is a very powerful emotion. Obviously it has been refined over the centuries and is a tool that all of us need to recognize. But I cant go as far as to kill my love for music, I just need to realize its subliminal use. It has to be said that even Plato was aware of the tools in media and their use, so this is an old method of manipulation. I may know this basically, I still fall for it far too much

And yes I am a 100% White Englishman. But my inside thoughts are as Black as Night! Long before slaves were taken from Africa my ancestors were being stolen and murdered, abused and degraded. So trying to use the idea of one country or one races abuse against my principles is ignorant and foolish. I empathise with every lost soul in history and am a voice that screams for justice. -
A Spiritual Awakening?
@ welshmam...
I am with your path, soul to soul. One thing I have realised in this techno age of enlightenment is this...
The ability to connect to any other mind at the same moment regardless of space or, and more importantly, regardless of boundries such as age or colour or creed, has shown me the truth that is in all our hearts. I talk daily to people of all ages from all walks of life and this unique form of communication has shown me this... we are all on the same wavelength. When we can meld mind to mind and drop our cultural baggage, often without even knowing we are, we are left with a common persona that I see reflected from India to Canada, from Brazil to Norway. That is why I say this needs to be pursued, this needs to be focused upon and pushed to the maximum. Can you dig it?
