As England continues to Burn I wonder what excuse will be used to make more new laws to control us.

A Poetic Thought.
With the un-rest in England I recall an old thought of mine...
Blakes Progress.
The blade, the scream, the youths upheaval
becomes old Albions new evil.
The cry of foxes in the night
bespeaks the woes of Englands plight.
The desert land we call a car park
this eve behoves the devils mark.
The running steps of deeds just done
are footprints on a dying son.
The breath of night that now exhales
is a soft whisper of our fails.
For every man must take the blame
for saying this is but a game. -

Takes my thoughts back to this. -
A Deep Thought?
I may have a drought in my life where money is concerned but in compensation for this I do have an abundance of Love. I am able to replenish my thirst for knowledge daily with the access to the internet and I seem to be blessed with these last two in such a vast supply that money becomes un-important (almost).

I can never condone the reasoning behind the insurrections we have witnessed, I just want us all to realise that this is an accumulation of the very cause we are fighting for, It is just in the wrong direction.
http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2011/aug/12/uk-riots-courts-warning
I have seen this behaviour, as have you all, I just want us to recognize that this is going to be used to tar our agenda and cloud our arguement. I could go as far as to say that it is orchestrated for that reason but I will leave that thought up in the air. Social networks are going to be targeted ( Are we not on that to?) and the internet is slowly being raised as the tool for the trouble. The cyber war is on-going and it is far beyond my understanding what direction to take.
Just be aware. -

Thought Provoking moments in film.

Also, I have read of mice and men and I to say that more people should read and understand the book its one of the few novels i actually would care to get connected to and read more and more.
By the way, I'm pretty young(13) so if I made any mistakes in either grammar or how the world goes I'm still learning . -

I appreaciated your input too. The first tune brought my thoughts back to my teen years when a similar tragedy was put to music.

Also I find it rewarding to hear from a young soul like yourself enjoying literature. I think you should try finding the book I posted in my sig at your library, it would appeal to you.
Nice input from you others too:) -

Song for Today.
This was actually written about the Miner's Strike in the 80s. Margaret Thatcher, the very right wing Prime Minister at the time ordered in the police on horseback to break up the peacefully picketing miners. The police used extremely excessive force, and that night on TV, the UK saw police on horseback clubbing down men and women in a cavalry charge. As Mr Knopfler says, "That night they say it had even shocked the Queen". Another black day in the history of England.

A Memory?Duke I will keep a stern look out for that book, Flowers for Algernon. Unfortunatly I just bought a book from a series that I love, Percy Jackson. I'm just so addicted to greek myths and legends :S.
I grew up always being sent to my bedroom for being a bad egg. My bedroom had the full Encyclopaedia Britannica on my chest of drawers but zip all else to read.I learnt all the Greek and Roman mythologies kinda alphabetically just out of boredom at first, then because they are dam fine stories that in later years are reflected in almost every classic written after. Shakespeares writings are a re-working of many of the Greek tragedies and even today they are put into film and still find new fans. Looking deeper you can see them reflected in pyschology and Science, Politics and even everyday life. In the art works of Salvador Dali I gazed on the "Metamorphosis of Narcissus" at the Tate in London in my late teens and discovered the Greek tragedy of Echo and Narcissus. It is still one of my favourite works of art. The Greeks invented Democracy and lots more and have given the world so much. Keep on the path you tread sir and you wont go far wronghere you go new song of the day hope you like it.
