well....for me it worked and i'm really glad! I can play NORMAL again! Finally ...after months with this moda***er bug which Z8Games doesn't care about!

MrMHz, if youre experiencing these same probs & have only a single core, try my other method. Follow up untill Task Manager & right click Crossfire.exe, but instead, scroll your mouse pointer over Set Priority & from the box that opens, left click "Low".

If that doesnt work; then since you have an older pc the prob might be you need to allocate more of your processor to the game so try instead the High & also Realtime settings as well.

If that dont work then perhaps youre not meeting minimum specs required for the game such as ram; etc?

Yes I tried this fix and it worked. Not only did it help with the sticky issue, it also helped with some of the really glitchy gameplay. My screen would freeze for a few seconds in heat of battle and I usually died... I found this more of a problem with the laggers and it is.. But with this small fix, it helps minimize the time of that delay lag.

Very nice, glad to hear it solved so many issues for you. The processor can affect lots of different aspects of gameplay, seems especialy the case with CF.

I posted this cuz I want to help others with this prob; I know how much of a pain this prob was. I keep bumping this cuz I dont want this to get lost & others wanting/needing help with this issue will miss it...
