Obviously if he is getting an ERROR CODE, meaning his computer has an error due to insufficient programs or lack of RAM, or somewhere inbetween. Usually you can google error codes and fix them rather easy with a download of something, Please Bruce, Stop talking to me, you already got both of my threads closed because of your flaming nonsense.

If you google the solution to all your problems then it's no wonder that nothing you say works. -
ShowNoHope.. whos that guy.. nobody asked his opinion right? I'm just checking because he is starting a flame fight for no reason. Who said i googled every solution? An error code in CF means my computer has an error?!?
An error code in Quake3 means my computer has an error?!?
An error code in UT2K3 means my computer has an error?!?
An error code in CoD4 means my computer has an error?!?
An error code in CF means my computer does not have enough RAM?!?

If you read most of the thread, you would notice most get a freaking white box without any error code. How could we google that smartass.If you google the error code, and look at what other people have said about it, it CAN fix it, but not 100%, please Bruce, don't start another flaming fight, i'm tired, and can't go to bed yet. I don't feel like arguing.
And if you looked even better, you would notice that the people posting specs possibly couldn't have a bad computer. Seriously I have 4gb ram myself, how the **** could that be too low ram memory.

it's not the antivirus.. i have a kaspersky and i have the same prbl i disable the antivirus and run the gamebooster but crossfire still doesn't work.
i have a cor2duo 2000G, 3gb ram,256mg video card,direcx10,all drives up tho date,OS vista sp2 .
soo!!!!! wer is the problem? -
Crossfire doesn't have a virus. Your computer simply isn't good enough, or doesn't have the needed materials to play crossfire.
It this no wonder that this kind of intellectually lazy gibberish is often the first recourse for the pretend-computer experts on here whose objective is not to solve problems, but rather, to help others realize how unsolvable their problems are. If you don't know why an error is happening, how about you simply STFU!!?! ****heads.
P.S.: For those still getting the "nameless box" error, and only those getting the "NAMELESS BOX ERROR," see if you're using Avast; if you are, right click and select "stop on access" protection to get cross-fire working again. This is a temporary fix, but if you want to play so badly, you have no choice for the moment. -
yep i just tried to play today and got the same sh.t
fix this stuff ppl come one, and whoever was crying about how they got treated cmon man we are just trying to play the game dont give us a hard time, we spend money on this (well i dont) and we just wanna play, fix these problems and lets play
also i someitmes get kicked by gameguard saying speed hack detected and i dont hack and never have fix this to please,

f.c.k i disabel mi antivirus and run crossfire and dont work.in the end i make a scan on mi pc and i fond this virus..

finally i can play again this what i did i made a full system scan and found 188 viruses and i deleted them and downloaded a new installation copy from z8 website and install while my antivirus is disabled and i made an exclusion in my antivirus to the crossfire folder and enabled my antivirus and then played like a dream by the way my anti virus is ESET NOD32 v4
and the solution posted above i didnt have to try it as my game works now but ty any way
