Game doens't start anymnore and freezes my PC
After clicking on Start Game, the game guard image comes up... as it would be normally.
After it goes away, nothing happens at first... But then, all windows and even explorer.exe, task manager, don't respond anymore.
Addionally, the window with nothing written pops up (game guard failure)
To close the pc I got to push the main button, wich isn't very good, as you should know.
What can I do?
OS: Vista Sp1
All drivers up-to-date
Tried Admin, compatibility mode XP, deinstalling-reinstalling.
Help?

Crap
Ah yes! so im not the only one...i havent been able to play for three days. The after starting it, gameguard comes up and the my pc goes grey (freezes), even ctrl+alt+del doesnt work and i have to take out the laptop battery....
i ran multiple virus scans, defragmented my disks and cleaned it up...thought it was a problem with a virus or something...
Please gm's solve this issue, asap. My ZP's being wasted

I am having the EXACT same frakking problem, and it's been going on for about 3 days as well. I knew it had to do with the server and not my computer, I KNEW IT!
Running Vista SP2
Direct X drivers are up to date, and yes, my computer can HANDLE THE FRAKKING GAME (50fps is avg i get), in case any intellectually lazy dolts here want to start blaming my computer cause they don't know what's wrong. -
yah fine, me too i have this problem... and i pay for this week. i had 3 black market create. I use them and after 2 day bang game crash.
i tryed evreything they sed to do on the gameguard web site. And nada isn't working. Am relly **** off. i want my money back!!!!!!!!!!!!! -

I didn't notice any CF update, so can't think of anything else that would cause this x.x
I uninstalled the 3 windows update from 8/26/2009, restarted the computer, tried to run cross fire again, and received the exact same error with it's nameless error message. -

It was worth a shot I think. -
At this point, anything is worth a shot (except a complete reinstall of windows). Others should try it too, see if it works for them. If you have a lot more time on your hands, go ahead and uninstall your last 6 or 10 windows vista updates, uninstall and reinstall crossfire, then see if it works...

well my game loads up i log in get into server and channel go to enter a room and bang connecting to room please wait is on for 3 - 5 mins then my game crashes ... have these problems got something to do with the switch from suba to z8? all i no is iyts annoyin the hell outa me

I have the same problem i have a intel core i7 gtx285 6gb
and with OS vista SP2 and the game freezes after i start the game i have made a full clean instalacion of vista 3 times and the game continuos with out working, now i come here and i see that you guys have the same problem, so its not a problem on my pc
