But if you are indeed a "competitive" team, and when you scrim, practice, or play a league match, you ARE part of a team, whether or not that tag is there. You are playing as a team and you are known as being part of a team. Even if your team is unofficial and really is just a group of friends playing for fun, when you sign up for a league, you must sign up under a team name. Even if you go by "denxi's team" it doesn't change anything

You and I are speaking of different things. You are speaking of a group of players who have already played with each other for a while applying a team name to themselves, whereas I am speaking of a group of players who wish to start a "team" together.

my point is that whether you go by the clan name or team name, it is basically the same thing, and should result in the same mentality. Sorry if I seemed to go on a little tangent, this thread is getting harder to follow than inception :p

this is why I hate participating in debates. I start off saying stuff that kinda makes sense, then quickly degrades into something off-topic, until I don't even know what I'm talking about anymore and can't think of an adequate reply.(run on sentence alert) doesn't help that Ive been studying for finals all day and my little brother is watching some dumb nickelodean show in the other room which I can feel is slowly popping all my brain cells.

  • The whole point of having a clan name when making a new team is to create a sense of unity. Showing that this new team be it unknown can stand up to the more well known teams. Instead of being known as "doop's team", my clan became known as LPK. It's showing that the clan itself is bigger than the individual players.

    I'm not denying this.
