Where has the respect gone?

in lots of games that's the purpose of clans, for people who are like minded to hang out together, many clans have their own rules as to how you are to act which ultimately reflects back on the clan itself. Although lately I've seen many people in clans cheating, but I digress.....
to bad there wasn't a password/invite only server, kind of like how you game game modes, but a whole server
as a site note, I guess I've made the big times finally, been kicked from a few games, made me feel kind of good really. -
Ego and ranges of maturity will ALWAYS be an issue in some eyes, but it's preference. Yes it's ignorant, but it's preference. Do you prefer to talk nonsense? Do you prefer to be a passive community member? Are they ALWAYS an issue? NO...But can they get out of hand? YES! It's our responsibility to know the rules and present ourselves in a fashion that's accepted in the communities we play in, but in this case all of that HAS been allowed, therefore nothing will change until examples are made. If you want to stop the ignorance, stop it, realistically. There's means to everything, but how they're taken, if taken is what determines tomorrow and the way we go about things.
Side Note: If you think this is bad, in-game....Go to a live competition, or LAN....This is something a friend of mine and I were JUST discussing the other night, going back on our history of events and competing. People who complain about it have no actual experience in this area. For instance; The competitive community...Minor "QQ's", or "your bad" is heaven compared to MOST competitive events. People WILL get in your face at LANs, people WILL scream at you and TRASH you live and make you feel tiny...Fights WILL break out. That's the nature of competition. Competition is a mood and mindstate. If your hearts not invested in the game you don't belong. We get mad when we're down, we're on top when we're winning...it's general psychology. Yes you can present yourself in a more positive manner, but this is eSports, not Wall Street. You come in to bust heads and win prizes. Your not sealing a fortune 500 stock sellout. I've attended and competed in well over 200 competitive events in my time...This is lollipops and unicorns compared to live competition. -

those are some rotten lollipops and decapitated unicorns we're talking about lol. -
i do agree with u but i must say i only disrespect people when im disrespected by them
And this, ladies and gentleman, is why the gaming world is screwed all over.
Someone start, the others follow. Just ignore the "noob", "hack" or "kick us3r" (in my case), otherwise you're similar to them. -

Exactly. Don't be like them. Of course you want to fight back and insult them back. But what is the point? Blatant disrespect and insults are different from "competitive spirit". We are talking in regular games, there should be a common line of respect FROM YOU, regardless of how other people act. -

Too competitive players are the cause of non-BR hackers (if there is any). They always call other people noob and those people get frustrated and start hacking. BR's Are just 99.99% of our problems as you can see there is a lot of other problems.
NOTE: This last sentence was trolling -
Haha don't get me started on that thread.
that thread provides a clear understanding of this community. you write something meaningful and then others try to rip on you. And the community is not going to change until you remove these select few or prohibit their use of the forums. Nothing of value would be lost anyway -

Removing the "select few" would be like halving the community. -
Hence that falls to the job of the management to correct that. That is their part. We all have our parts in this problem. We don't have to stoop to such low levels, those of us who know the difference. Some who do know that difference between wrong and right still do wrong simply for no legitimate reason. We both have a part. It is ultimately up to the management here to enforce the rules laid out.
I personally would rather full enforcement of rules, word for word. Have all the "bad seeds" be banned or leave themselves. Build on the half that actually has some remote interest in improving this community. -
