open CF folder
copy version to Destop
open version file from desktop change 1204 to 1205 save it desktop
right click version file click property tick read only
once that's done then replace that one from desktop to CF folder replace old version -
Fix.
Follow.- Open Crossfire Folder (e.g. C:\Program Files\Crossfire)
- Find "version.ini"
- Copy "version.ini" to desktop
- Open file from DESKTOP.
- Change LatestVersion from 1204 to 1205.
- Save "version.ini".
- Right click on "version.ini" and select properties.
- Tick "Read Only"
- Apply + Okay.
- Move the modified "version.ini" file back to the Crossfire folder.
- Run patcher_cf.exe.
- Fixed.
