Error File is changed : W[2007] L[0]
I didnt made the patch of 10/06 and still makes me this error.
File is changed : W[2007] L[0] crossfire.exe
Maybe because i runed CCleaner and that errased something of CF directory? If this problems remains, can u tell me the Latest Version number to change that Version. file in cf directory.
Or any other solution

FILE IS CHANGED W[2007] L[0] and other File Changed/Forged Errors
- Uninstall the game completely
- Disable your antivirus' realtime protection
- Redownload the game
- Install the game
- Add the entire crossfire folder to your antivirus exceptions
- Re-enable realtime protection
If you downloaded the game with your antivirus active, it may be 'cleaning' the rez file upon download.
The source File is corrupted
This is similar to the previously mentioned "File is changed" error. If your antivirus software's realtime scanner is active while you are downloading the game, it could result in corruption of the download. Temporarily disable your realtime scanner, then redownload the game client. Keep realtime scanning disabled while you install the game. Make sure to add the entire Crossfire folder to your antivirus' exceptions list before you re-enable the realtime scanner. -

Put the downloaded crossfire.exe file into: C:\Program Files (x86)\Z8Games\CrossFire
and say YES to replace the old file with the new downloaded crossfire.exe file!

That doesn't work, it just says CShell.dll afterwards, and then after that HGWC.exe ... -
Better solution. Copy the Version file to other folder . Click on it and go on Proprieties, unmark Reading File. Save. Open the file substitute 1204 for 1205. Save it. Go on proprieties and mark the box Reading File. Save it. Copy and Paste on the Crossfire Folder
Computer -> Programs -> Z8Games > Crossfire > Paste > It will appear a window, click on Copy and substitute. Open Crossfire and it will start Patching -
Zombie i did it and now it shows the same error but instead of crossfire.exe it says CShell.dll any suggestions ? thanks for helping.
by downloading the Crossfire .exe he supplied you,you have now screwed up your game even if Admins update fix the w[2007] L[0] change file error you would have CShell error,then another error then another error, in your case you would need to uninstall the game and reinstall it and just wait like all of us to fix the file changed error w[2007] L[0] -

I did what snikers said and its downloading the new patch at the moment. If i get the same cshell error, i will reinstall it and do what snickers said again. Thanks.
