those who got the money buy intel, those who are in a budget buy AMD.

intel's the obvious winner in terms of performance, but only a few intel chips have a bang for buck as great as AMD's chips.
not to count the AMD socket line. FX still uses AM3.
then again we have the i5-3570k, which brings a great amount of performance per dollar.

it's really that obvious. I'm sure we all know this already.
