Breath Down, Ghost Mode Menace.
Dear Z8Games,
I would like to persuade you to make the breath down for ghost mode a little more expensive per day, completely remove it from the game, or release an item that counters it.
Firstly, Breath Down is more powerful in ghost mode than axe is. I tested this myself, I bought an axe for 7 days and tested. after 7 days of Lost Relics, I acquired only 453 kills. I tried this again, same map, same everything, just with breath down, I got a total of 952 kills and even leveled up my assassin badge, this actually includes an entire day of not playing because I got grounded from my PC
. 6 days of Breath Down almost doubles the kills of 7 days of axe.
Also, having breath down pretty much makes a person who bhops completely unhearable. I have conducted this test too with a recorder and a detector (not in game) when you bhop, your breath is only 50% hearable. when you have breath down bhopping, your breath is only 10% hearable and only hearable at a range of up to 5 feet away... not enough time to react before you are dead from a stab wound to the head or multiple stab wounds to your foot in most cases.
These are the reasons I believe that Breath Down's price should be inflated, it should be completely removed from the game, or atleast release an item that costs the same that can counter it.. like advanced hearing or something. Anything to give Global Risk just the smallest of chances of combatting the bhopping Breath Downer
Sincerely,
Jason Clark, Fan of Z8Games
P.S. This is not the account that i conducted the test on. i conducted the test on my main.

this is my exact point. i DO pinpoint. i only wish that they could add a button to disallow it in ghost mode atleast.. putting no breath down in the title of the match just makes trolls wanna join with breath down and ruin it.... same with no knife in sniper. i tried reverse psychology, by saying breath down allowed, then the whole other team was breath down... -

hmm i hear a gho-ACK (lays on floor because ghost slashed his throat b4 he knew it waz that close.... -
It is not the issue of breath down. It is the issue of breathing itself that is the problem. A ghost's breath is not synchronized to it's steps, so it is difficult as it is to pinpoint.
And this has been discussed before about Breath Down, and really the answer is no for now.
That's a bug that shows the dead animation of a player while they're alive.somekiller34 wrote: »hmm i hear a gho-ACK (lays on floor because ghost slashed his throat b4 he knew it waz that close.... -

i actually get kicked for my pinpointing .. made this account for AWM and every game i play in i get kicked by a ******ed BR saying "KICKA HACKER HACKER KICKA SEE GHOST NOOBBBBA" -

no,, i was pretty much dead. i think you misunderstood. you are talking about when someone is laying on the floor and scooting across it like the Exorcist XD i think that glitch is funny.. got kicked for it because when it happens to ghosts they are visible sometimes xD, and no.. i can easily pinpoint footsteps.. beeps.. slashing.. gunfire.. sniper breaths.. etc.. its just that when the bhopper goes in for the kill, unless you are running at 1,000,000,000,000,000,000 FPS it will be impossible to shooot him in time -

I did not "misunder stand", I know what you're talking about. Ghost Mode was intended for the ghosts to win, it's simple fact. It just takes a VERY GOOD ghost team. Since you did this, you obviously know how to pinpoint. That's useless sometimes, not every time tho. Imagine a game when you don't give a crap about the shout. Ghosts can easily claim a vote out of a GR for hack, aimbot, wall... You don't see it, and you don't kick the hacker. GR wins. Or, you see it, and you kick, and GR says f12. Is it fair?
Ghosts are invisible and their breathe is not likely to be heard if you're a good ghost. Removing breathe down will never happen. So why not joining BL side? -

because i hate BL
when im on BL i always get pinpointed too easily because i dont waste my gp on BD.. and i broke my space bar and have to click it hard to make spaces.. also why my bhop sucks.. good timing.. just halfthe time doesnt space and gotta start over -
lol
before i broke my spacebar i used to bhop forward and found a glitch where you could bhop forward in a vent.. got fun.. got kicked for speed crouch alot.. raged because they banned me for "hack" and punched my laptop (yes im on a laptop and i still own) and broke the left alt and spacebar key to where i gotta click really hardto get to space -
Ignorant breath down users think they can stay still because of it, but as it doesn't remove the breath completely, they can still be killed.
Most breath down users who bhop around would do about the same performance without it.
So I don't think it really is that much of an advantage
Even if breath down improve your score as much as you say it does, it doesn't have the same effect on everyone. -

and btw, I think that is worst to play with team mates spraying all the time with ak's, rpk's, m12's, wtv than face some ghosts with breath down.
Definitely, that's just the worst. If a ghost has breath down and your team doesn't spray, then you should be fine (obviously that's not the case in 99% of GM games). -

no i dont mind sprayers.. messed with my sound settings and now i barely hear bullets... i put on loudness equilization and some other setting.. now ghosts are super loud (without breathdown) and normal (with breath down) and grenades hurt my ears -_-. breath down Bhoppers are too low even for beats to hear lol -

Good work mate, loved the statistics you produced as well and I completely agree with what your saying. -

thanks, took me 2 weeks to conduct the tests. been thinking about doing it for a while now.. my only christmas wish this year is that they add an option to exclude breath down in the settings.. like they do exclude smoke/flash grenades. -
uLulzSource wrote: »those statistics aren't "legit", if u face different skilled players in different rooms the kd stats will change...
kinda have to agree with you their but mostly all the GR were the same.. headphone, pinpointer, and major crybaby when i killed them with knife... -

Never said they were 'legit', I just said I liked them. At least what he's writing makes sense and is more believable than some of the other rubbish you see on here. -

yeah.. i dont "rage" i protest in a mannerly fashion xD, atleast im not saying stuff like "DELETE BREATH DOWN OR I QUIT AND ALL MY FRIENDS QUIT TOO!".. ill still like crossfire no matter what for its great community and not many noobs on the forums... -
Breath-down is about as useful as armor is. The chances of it making a difference is slim to none, unless you are playing with sprayers and runners. A good Global Risk team equipped with suppressed rifles, headphones and pin-pointing skills has no problem overcoming the minor advantage that breath-down gives. Its bunny-hopping that allows a ghost to get the drop on pin-pointers, and not breath-down.

sound familiar? ya it is.. it is the last sentance of my body paragraph.. i specifically said "bhopping Breath Downer" -

ik m8, but i don't think breath down makes much difference in a room with good gm players -

But i suppose it is a way for Z8 to make money after all.
i disagree. i have many a time been able to pinpoint a bhopper with breath down just passing by me. but when they bhop rush you full force, you hear, but you have no time to react unless you 360 them and have the reflexes of Chuck Norris xD
