I think I have a solution to the hacking problem
This will require work on the ENTIRE community not just the GM's but they'll have to step up their game as well. The first and most important step is that we must start reporting hackers. The next thing that has to happen is for the GM's to keep a tally of how many times 1 person was reported and/or votekicked within a certain timeframe, then based on the players games that day see who the players were in the match who either A f12'd or B refused to kick, and give all those players a 2 day ban. I know its not an elegant solution, because I dont know computer code but I can't imagine it would be that hard to come up with a program to do MOST of that for the GM's. I encourage you all to tweak my idea seeing as it would make the game SOOOO much better for the community as a whole, for those of you who took the time to read this thanks, I know theres a lot of lazy players.

I appreciate the input bud and your right, there would be some challenges its just a rough idea, there would have to be tweaking, there's things I don't know, but I'm getting tired and I'm looking for solutions. We're always taught "don't bring us a problem unless you have a solution" So I figured there had to be some way to get people to get rid of hackers and what better way then putting the fear of god into the legit players who refuse to kick for a "win"

Dude, you need to carefully examine some replays again, since you will see that in addition to the couple obvious hackers there is many, many more playing with you that you hadn't noticed because of the couple grabbing all the attention. -
not 100% true, I've played a long time, going on 3 years, I can usually spot a hacker pretty quickly, but those people while yes they are a problem that needs attention its not the biggest problem in the game, the blatant hackers who are doing it for the sake of hacking, those are the people we need to go after, we can deal with the more sophisticated hacks and hackers at a later date, we need to take care of this ulcer
But can we please try to keep this thread productive, I know the GM's are going to close it, but I would at least like to give them something to think about -

I'm not saying that you wouldn't know it was a hacker, I'm saying that your attention is directed at the obvious one causing you to not notice the others. And no, I disagree it's all hackers that are the problem not just blatant hackers. -

I get vote-kicked a LOT. Two out of Three games I will be kicked.
I have never hacked, nor do I harbour any intentions start using such pathetic methods. (Unless they bring out an "anti-kick" hack, I would definately use that)
Forget about the amount of times vote-kicked, you´ll see more legit players banned than hackers.
We need a better anti-cheat, simple. I don´t care if that makes this game pay2play.
We also need in game moderators. Who will PERMANENTLY ban cheaters.
The whole ban system needs to be changed, Z8 should start a 0-Tolerance policy. i.e. If you are caught hacking, you will recieve a permanent ban, no matter how high your rank is, and no matter how much money you have spent on the game. THIS, will have a dramatic impact on those that hack.
Another thing we need: ping capped servers. Capped at 100 / 120.
The Brasilians are getting their own server, which means that they will only be able to play there if ping caps and ip regions are blocked from certain servers.
Simple solution.
Last but not least, this damned community NEEDS to grow the hell up.
Dont whine at the enemy for using a good gun, or buying a cool character.

So i join a game 2 rounds in , as soon as i spawn there is a vote kick , i have no idea who is being kicked or why, the only info i have is ppl chat with the usual f11 he hack followed by f12 i don't hack ! ... in that situation i would f12 as i will not vote to kick someone unless i see for myself they hack as i hate being kicked for no reason .. in that scenario i would then receive a 2 day BAN ... thats crazy !!!! ..

ping caps are useless. what happens if your ping spikes to 121? you're gone.
because of all the international players, jitter would be through the roof it'd say (basically unstable internet, spiking and unstable ping). -

I votekick everyone with BR or TR in ign. or with + 200 ping.EDIT: epypts too!
votekick tool is a billion times more efective than reporting, at least you see something happening!
z8 doesn't want people reporting, because they don't have enough people to see the reports. They don't want to spend money with it. This is a pretty low graphics game the investment is low. -
look... we need 2 do what he sed but srsly when sumones get a 3+kilcombo sum1 calls HACK like 2 day i played a few knife matches with my knife i got about 6 combo and ppppl shouting out hack... all i did was hit the head and they were all in a row bunched up in sewers so yea..

i get kicked up to 10 times a day.

And that number will double at least my friend cos by his idea anyone who F12 will get 2 day ban lol, so everyone gonna F11 every time no-matter what .. rooms would just empty out as everyone is kicked cos everyone will always F11...the more i type the more this sounds stupid ...all in favour of new ideas but this is a non starter .. -
How about another solution?
a system that records everyone's first person perspective (will record the moment the player joins the room) and then if a group of the players (for example 3+, and NOT one player) in the room report a certain player via ingame room (ESC->Report player [Blah blah]) the reported player's recording of that game would be sent to Z8 HQ and then be processed. [And maybe perhaps a snapshot of the person's running task programs of the last 5mins before client launch to see if any injector programs have been initiated]
But if it was a false positive the players that did the reporting are punished by GP reduction of 5,000 -
Newbs may not know a person is hacking = Ban.
Newbs may not know how to kick = Ban.
Pros may think "oh another newb kicker" F12 = Ban.
Some people may think "oh a noob hacker" and go to press F11 and hit F12 by mistake = Ban.
Some people may entirely miss the vote kick = Ban.
To be honest I am becoming kick blind and quite often do not see it kind of like Advert Blindness, I only look for kicks or kick when I know there is a hacker present and ignore all the "AFF" "PORRA RACKER" "KIKA FD.P" bs. -
Z8 can't do anything about hackers as Xtrap is the anticheat provider. Everytime they patch, there's already new coding out for the hacks. As for reporting cheaters, I think everyone gave up on that seeing how z8 just can't handle the flood of hacking reports coming in. They need to check each report see if the person really does cheat. ALSO they came up with the autoban system which would ban also legit players.. at least they tried. Besides A LOT of people cheat on new accounts (and of course brasil didn't get IP banned, so they can still make as many accounts as they want).
I am not trolling though, I AGREE that something must be done. And the ultimate solution in my opinion is to give them their server so they never roam on ours again. IP block from alpha and etc but they get their server.
Something else that could be done is having a server where you pay monthly fees. Where players on that server have priority on hacking reports, and better service as they actually pay. (BUT I know this won't happen as this game would not be free to play anymore... which is how z8 attract people). -

You assume majority of hacks are BR ?... the majority of hacks i find are turks and egyptian , together they make a larger % of hacks than good old BR ! .. south american server might help but will not make a big difference .. -

Hello troll, I made it perfectly clear this was to be a productive thread, not someone coming in with their QQ gun and shooting at everything in sight, I also never claimed to be an expert, if I was I'd make my own game. But there are people with the skills to do what I was thinking about. And this threads alternate purpose was to get people thinking and brainstorming so we can AS A COMMUNITY fix the problem that plagues our game, unless you have something productive to contribute then please navigate your way to the back button and go find a less productive thread to troll.
As to the ideas about having a small start up fee, or even a pay to play server(even if its only a cheap fee) I think that's a FANTASTIC idea, it would drastically cut back on the number of hackers infiltrating our game, keep em coming peoples. -

I don't think said idea would exactly work the greatest... It has it's abuses. A kick vote being started for a legit player, then EVERYONE hitting f11 because they don't want to get banned. It would just most likely result in EVERY player being kicked from a room almost instantly for having a positive score.

OFC it would be F2P, that's like saying it isn't F2P now since you can optionally buy ZP, that is the same as optionally buying access to a server. -
Lets start by what we know about the problem.
1. Reporting.
Hack reports can take months before they are ever reached and read mostly due to the sheer number of reports the support staff gets. Plus since the .temp file was removed we now have to play to the end of a game to get a replay to report. This means we have to put up with being farmed from a hacker and it take months intill we see a result.
Plus there is nothing stopping them from a making a new account with in minutes of the ban.
2. X-trap.
At the moment X-trap can't keep up with the focus and the speed in which the hack makers make the hacks. The hack makers always have access to X-trap when it updates and have had its previous versions for months, so they're able to find what changed and work around it or make it ineffective. X-trap by comparison needs to first know there is a new hack out, get a copy of the hack, find out how it works, and find a way to patch it.
The Hack makers will always have a lead here as long as making the hacks is worth it to them.
3. The community.
The majority of players in the game are more interested in kicking low ping players then hackers. Hackers are let to roam free simply because the only ones willing to kick them most of the time are low ping players. With so many High ping players ignoring, defending, and welcoming them the hackers are left to do what they please.
In short we need a solution that solves these three issues.
Need to make the report process faster to go through reports.
Need a way to stop the hack makers from being so focused on making hacks.
Need a way to make the majority of players actually want to play fair.
The vote kick solution is filled with problems.
First, Low ping legit players are put up to vote far more often the High ping hackers.
Leading to what few low ping players left being banned for no reason.
Second, the program that records and tracks the votekick and f12 data will take up a lot of processing power and memory. Right now the servers are mostly relaying data between clients, to have them record and save that data would slow down and lag the game quite a lot. The program would be simply to make but it be hell on the servers and game.
Third, The report system is overloaded with reports. Making more reports won't help and it will require the players to play in till the end of the game with the hackers that are killing them. -
Add pay to play servers in tandem with the rest.
let the hekkers run free in the free servers. What happens if they pay to play as well? Got it covered, a second report report system for the pay to play servers will ensure better reporting standards. very few randie hak reports that way. -

My one friend to not be rude:
Brazil and the parents do not see correct hac.krs do a search on sites WHAT hac.krs and found will be the United States, UK, India.
2 ca for us but there is a solution to end hac.krs z8 but have many fears for high levels of account that will come to blacklist not able to have access to the game.
3 z8 give priority to the accounts created from there a year and invest in new accounts for all payments we would be happy for who would be the bundle that would lower hac.krs to play and lose your money? but is easier to let them run loose it rather than their symptoms severe measures for this case. -
I would like to see this game put into stores to buy it, this along with ZP purchases, and even merchandise sales, would boost the income of Z8Games, allowing them to be able to pay more people, in area's that need it. I am NOT going to pay a monthly fee, or pay to play on a special server. Because the current state of the game is far below what I would deem worth it? Not bashing the game, I have been playing this game off and on for the past 2+ years, and still like it. Yes there needs to be improvements, which to my understanding the GM's/MOD's/DEV's are very well aware of. I for one am putting my faith into this game, and hoping one day, that it will be up to snuff, and be clean of hackers/cheaters/abusers.
