More Moderators

Begging for a moderator position is basically showing your power hungry. Z8Games will add more moderators when they see it's necessary right now the community is fine. The in-game could use a little clean up which we will see happening over the next few weeks/months.

Have we begged? No.
Is the community fine? No.
Dont you understand? We need this. More than ever now. I myself wouldn't want to be a mod, because i feel i am not classified for the job. -
Posting what name you would use if you became moderator is basically showing your power hungry.
What's wrong with the community ?
Like I said Z8Games will add more staff when they think we need it.
They are just being creative... Ofcourse anyone wants to be a mod?
What is wrong with the community is the hackers. Z8games should do something about this. Do you even know how many hackers there are per day i meet? 30. -
Z8Games is working on that. Z8Games, however, is not the one to blame for there being so many hackers. XTrap is struggling with patching the hacks right now which is why there has been a great increase in hackers these days. There is a report system to take care of hackers. Also the reason they don't really have any in-game moderators is because of power abuse. Some of them would eventually find someone they really dislike and ban them for no reason at all instead of doing the job correctly. And it is very hard to find people to trust with a position like that who can keep their personal issues out of their decisions and do the job correctly.
That is why you would not become a moderator.MidoLegend07 wrote: »[MOD]Mido
Banning stupid QQers. ( they r Worse than hackers ... ) -

Hire atleast 25. I know its risky, but we gotta try.

lol everyone want to be a mod
mmm
but no everyone can be -
Not quite everyday. Because when a new patch comes out that blocks the hacks the people that create them have to figure out a way to by pass the patch so it does take a bit for them to create them. The easiest thing to do to help eliminate hacks would be putting a limit on the amount of accounts that can be created from an IP address. The problem with that though as most of us know is people changing their IP. However, most people don't even know how to do that surprisingly lol.
Also if your looking to run into less hackers try more of the empty servers like Delta or Echo or something. I hardly ever see a hacker there. -
Fight fire with fire? (that'd be so ironic...)They shoot you through walls and one hit you in the base before you can even aim the BAN gun at them
Or the mod could temporarily become invincible with the press of a button (they could no longer play in the match and their rewards like EXP and GP wouldn't be given) and rain down on the hackers from the skies. (This is getting ridiculous now) -
Amen, the thin line of who can keep calm when they die...In-game specific mods would be a start, but there's a thin line between those who can be trusted to not abuse the system, and those who actually have the ability to spot a hacker.RawrChango wrote: »Current mods choose their own little underlings?
Yeah... No....
There are already obvious choices then. -
Guys, you do realize the more you think you're good enough to become a mod, the worse you will do?
As said by someone perfectly,
Do you think you have what it takes to be a MOD?
Yes) Stop lying to yourself
No) Why Ask/ Volunteer?
Z8 picks people they deem the most worthy, Talon said he never expected it and he never felt he was worthy until Z8 deemed he was, neither did Rory albeit everyone expected Iceman and Rory.
P.S. I can't trust [MOD]Cookz, albeit I can trust it more than [MOD]Soul. -

forum mods =/= in-game mods
in-game mods = GM's
Not necessarily, while most our power lies on the forum, we are as well considered "In game mods" because of the various other things we do for the game, in the game, many of them which we are not allowed to tell our members about.
However, our MOD team at the moment is full. There are usually GMs around the game servers popping in (though usually "undercover"). Along with our Auto-Ban system kicking hackers all day long.
When the time comes where Moderators are finally given in game powers, will be the time when it's decided whether our team needs to expand. At the current time our team is large enough to deal with what needs to be done, we also each bring in an important side along with us on the mod team that help the Game Masters and Managers get things done.
And remember guys, we are always keeping an eye out for new good moderators, however they are hard to come by. It's only when we announce we're officially going to bring someone in that everyone starts to be "goody-goodies", which also tells us they are not qualified for the position. -
Couldn't agree more with Rex. Maybe to keep everyone all goody goody is to always have that announcement up lol jk jk.
@ImVietNub: Some do you just don't run into them to often.
@Sunhura: Currently the only way to lessen the hackers is by taking action and reporting them until XTrap can get a patch made for the hacks. But as I've said before there is always going to be hackers in a free to play online game.
