My opinion about Ribbons
I think that the Ribbon system is a great idea and ofc it'll help CF with more money, but that's not the point right now...
Well, many people started to try to win the Military Intelligence Ribbon and many of them earned it without spamming and stuff. Well, tbh I started posting b4 I even notice that Ribbons exist. It's pretty bad that the Military Intelligence Ribbon has been removed but I understand Saidin. I think that today's a better day (talking bout SPAM) then the last X days.... But, replacing it by a almost impossible Ribbon that ask us for 100,000 kills, most likely, high ranks love to reset their K/D and many of them did it like 5 days ago and they're all effed up and I understand them. And a new player will never ever get that Ribbon so fast even if he farms and noticing that we can't win 2 xmas Ribbons, 1 Sniper week Ribbon, we can't speed up till we have the Veteran Ribbon it is almost impossible to succesfully have 20 ribbons right now.
Make the new ribbon easier (like 25,000 kills) would be nice to every1, just saying.
Many people are excitted to get their M4A1 C.C and everyday many people are starting to think that is impossible right now to get it.
Well, this is not a negative thread, in fact, I have to thank the wonderful idea that MODs or ADMINs or w/e had with this Hero Ribbon.
But, what bout u mates, whatcha think bout this?

there are already threads on this. a ribbon is not supposed to be easy to get, and it is not aimed so that everyone can get it. there will be more ribbons in the future that you can get. the ribbon will be awarded to people who work hard and are dedicated.

If ur reading every threads players that play for 2 years long dont have 100,000 kills. Ur talking about working hard or don't have a life?
It's not my problem, my main has more then 100,000 kills... I'm just thinking bout new players. -
I had 100k+ kills. i reset it for lulz with BP months ago. now i only play SnD and the occasional TD, and i have 8k kills. its truely not a big deal for me considering if i wait it out, more ribbons will come and i will get 20 ribbons before i get the 100k one.

Like the above comments have stated. There will be more ribbons to come. You'll just have to wait.
nothing wrong with farming, its as legit as killing AFKers. All it does is gives you;
Rank (doesnt matter after SFC because of the gun restrictions),
Gives you kills (also doesnt matter except for the 100k ribbon because there will be more ribbons yet to come),
And gives you a higher kd (doesnt matter also because its not about KD, its about how much of a team player you are) -
If you think about it.. It's basically a mis of a M4a1 Custom with a M4a1 crystal.. Think about how much money you would have to spend to get both. It is highly valuable so it must be difficult to get. They're just not going to be like "Hey! Here's 20 easy ribbons for you to get." There has to be some challenge in getting some of the ribbons or you're going to see a bunch of players with a M4a1 C.C. in a matter of months to the point where it gets too common..

Exactly but what about all the legit players who do it all without the farming? Do they get any credit for their hard work?
But I guess farming can be bad for some, when it comes to actually playing against a moving opponent..well you can tell that they farm.

not entirely, some farmers are actually good players. Some may think ADIGA sucked, but in fact he was a decent player and is a decent person.
and about the legit player scenario, its just like badges (for those that really dont care) if you get it, you get it. -

You know what if z8 or the devs implemented a badge or ribbon that says ' I Farm' I bet a lot of players would be shamed and not farm at all.
But since you can farm and get away with it, without people knowing...it's like 'Well whose gunna know, why not'

Huh? A lot of people don't know who farms and who doesn't. We had a few farmers in our clan and we had no idea..for awhile anyway.

well, thats probably because they didnt farm to a point they rank everyday. they probably did a few farming games here and there.

Farming is legal in this game.
Which is fine with me (No I'm not a farmer) because more of them doing something else other than hacking.
One more point, The new ribbon is a new ribbon. It is in no way, shape, or form, a replacement for the Military Intelligence ribbon. -
The main problem is that farmers really get away with it. Meh, what u can do? Say it in their face: Ahah, u noob farm.
I mean, it's not even worth. It really doesn't matter...
Exactly but...what if everyone farmed...There would be no pub games only rooms locked with farmhoers and there cows.

Yeah, let's not be OT... Farmers are farmers. And I rather them farming then hacking so let them farm. Who cares? We are who we are and we should be proud of ourselves and proud about non-being a farmer. -

No, they didn't replace it. They got rid of it for the time being. It will be back but with different requirements. Army Of One is a ribbon aimed mostly at the veteran portion of the community. So yes it is supposed to be hard to get.
