Would this run crossfire smoothly?
Well,I have no computer now ;( And i have a kickass account. Also my old gaming rig finally burnt out on me It costed 2586$ to make it im sad to see it go.
But i was going to get a computer not as good as my old one but something to get maybe 50,60,90fps in a normal match like 5v5 or something. And around 30fps for 8v8...Something stable that i can work on...
Well here are the specs of the pc im getting for christmas,Would it run crossfire fine?
CPU and Memory:
AMD Athlon II triple core X3.
Processor speed 2.7GHz.
3GB DDR3 RAM.
Hard drive:
500GB SATA hard drive.
DVD optical drives:
Dual layer.
Graphics:
Dedicated ATI Radeon HD 4250 graphics card with 256MB memory. (MY OLD ONE WAS 1GB)
Interfaces and connectivity:
10 USB ports.
1 HDMI port.
Wired keyboard and mouse.
Operating system:
Windows 7 Home Premium
Are these the kind of specs that will get me 30fps in 8v8 match,But like with gamebooster and visual styles etc disabled...Obviously it will be higher in 1v1 3v3 etc...Im just wanna make sure ill get around 25/30fps in 8v8

60 FPS is equal to 1000 FPS to the human eye on Cross Fire. It's just the rate of recording that you would like. -

Pretty much sums it up.
Do me a favour and tell me when you say 200,What kind of room you talking about full? Or just 1v1 or like a normal 3v3,5v5...?
Is the ati raedon hd 5770 a 1gb or 512mb or 256? -

minimum of 100 fps.
Nice whats your specs?
My cousin gets around 300fps in any mod/map and full room.In 1v1 he gets like 600 :O Im so jealous of him x)
But as i said i just want something that will run more than 30fps in a 8v8 -
everyone that think hes gonna get high fps is dumb. i myself have 1gb ram in my video card and i get like 80 - 100 fps in 8v8. even though u got a better processor, which will let you run it much more smoothly, ur graphics card wont let u run cf at more than like 50 fps

its a 1g gddr5 clocked around.... 1200mhz. -
Im kinda cought around both opinions,Also SYZ3MN I like your vids on yt x)
But not the point,I just want high fps and 2 peepz have said i will get around 200 -300 in 1v1 and 80ish or higher in 8v8
Also i will put 16bit and low texture on and turn off all visual styles which will give me about 20/30fps more + gamebooster = 30/40fps more -

So your saying ill have to invest in a new gfx card for about 80 euro?
Also this pc isnt custom it will be bought standard...But i am willing to pay around 100euro about 1/2 months after i get it -

thanks bro ;] and;
lower settings dont affect my fps at all, same with game boosterthat only lets u play on higher fps if you have low ram or a weak cpu, which is not the case in your computer, you'd need to buy an extra graphics card after you buy your computer to get any good results. -

just get 1 better one. i got the nvidia geforce 8500 gt like 3 years ago when i got my computer and with a 2.1ghz processor, i still get around 80 or more fps in 8v8. and the 8500 has 1gb of memory. -

Nice but i don't tink i can get it in my local stores. You live in USA,I live in Ireland. And i don't wanna see the shipping bill + the cost for the gfx card lol...
But if you do know so much about it.Can you tell me what my stats would be with everything on low and off.Like tell me from a 1v1 all the way up to a full room -

yes you would get 30 fps in 8v8's, but i wouldn't know why you would want a computer that pulls those numbers in a game like this.
for 400 euros (around 500 US) you could build a computer much better than that prebuilt junk.[MOD]BlindRob wrote: »I'd just like to jump in here and say that CF depends almost fully on your processor speed. It hardly uses any GPU power at all.
wrong.
run a dual core 2.2 ghz with a 5770 in one computer
run a quad core 3.2 ghz with an integrated card in the other
first computer would do better
