Well the Kriss is like a nail gun and at least paintball guns are cool. I have the Steyr and I love using it, even more so than when I own it up with my Uzi in Monaco. The scope is accurate the first 4-5 shots but the view bounces all over the place. So aim at head level and camp by shooting 5 scoped in, 1 second recoil diedown, and repeat. I can control the recoil well on this gun, so for me its both an anti-sniper rifle and an SMG when I get bored
Best tips I can give for the Aug, don't move the scope while shooting, always wait for recoil to die down, and most of the time treat it like a non scoped M4- aim for the neck and tap ad mid range, controlled spray **** -
I'm an AUG lover, but I agree there aren't many of them out there. It's because it takes skill to use and many noobs around. :S It's a headshot monster so expect to get kicked for aimbotting. >:( It's also a great countersniper weapon, but always have a pistol with you as up close the AUG is useless.

Up close, as long as you're not zoomed in, the AUGs high rate of fire will almost certainly keep you alive, unless you have problems aiming with it. That's always been one of my favorite things about the gun! -
Steyr Aug A1i got an aug and i rlly love it its a very useful weapon its very accurate and its fire range is long and his aim owns but i want an aug camo but not luck

Im just asking because i dont see anyone with an Aug(i have one,ok its my only wep^^)and i love it much,so other players thinking its bad or what?and another question is if someone can tell me(if he uses aug on his own for sure)how i have to shoot with the aug?ive tried spraying and it was terrible,i tried short intervals and i died between the pauses and if i single shot,i can kill one but the others killing me really fast.so tell me if u like the aug and if you can tell me how i have to shoot with it(please dont tell me i have to use the optical scope and just aim for the head,i search for another way of using the aug

The aug...ah yes...a personal weapon of choice for me. This weapon is designed to be useful all over. At short intervals, lets say fighting someone who has a knife (GM), you can spray, or just short burst, as you spray though, aim for their feet/chest and you should get a headshot. At medium intervals (Gun fight, Eagle Eyes, Egypt, etc..), just aim for the head and short burst, or if you're like me and Dark, scope and shoot at their nose ^_^. For long range fighting (Monaco, Santoria...etc..) scope it up! Aim for the head while strafing using the A and D keys, and one shot them
. We wary though, don't hold the shoot button while scoped and moving. Try to keep it a one shot burst while strafing and then another one shot burst. This will prove most effective in long-range quarters. The Aug is a very good weapon, and certainly under-appreciated. Keep goin' at it till you find your style, then keep going even further. ^_^ -

Holy Shizznaps, BoO from LND is amazing with the AUG, only pros use that gun & peopel who aren't scared to show that scar L is for noobs who are afraid to be different. But like I said Find BoO and youll be amazed by that gun

I bought a Steyr Aug and I absolutely love it, the trick I learned in some TD matches is that the spray patter is so horible tha when my dog pushed my mouse while I was spraying, I was aiming at the legs and got a head shot. O_o A very good trick to do is to do what some ak useres do , move from side to side and tap around the head. Also u should aim SLIGHTLY higher than the neck or even the nose cause some times even if your aiming at the head on your first shot it will hit the neck.

BoO doesn't even own a AWM lol, Thats prob in elim but thats another story, I played with him yesterday in a mexico match he was using an Aug and eneded up having a 43-3 ratio. thats amazing when your talking about the AUGboo uses awm all the time when i see 'it'. and awm is as nooby as scarl
