No one loves the Steyr Aug A1?
Im just asking because i dont see anyone with an Aug(i have one,ok its my only wep^^)and i love it much,so other players thinking its bad or what?and another question is if someone can tell me(if he uses aug on his own for sure)how i have to shoot with the aug?ive tried spraying and it was terrible,i tried short intervals and i died between the pauses and if i single shot,i can kill one but the others killing me really fast.so tell me if u like the aug and if you can tell me how i have to shoot with it(please dont tell me i have to use the optical scope and just aim for the head,i search for another way of using the aug

Short range - spray
Mid range - tap (click on your target 1 to 4 times, wait one sec then repeat)
Long range - 1 or 2 shot max
AK-47 tecnique but it works with the AUG. People rather have a gun that does all the work for you like a scar L etc. so they tend to stay clear of more skill based guns

I'm AUG user - fits my playing style perfectly. Its rear but I see some AUG users out there. And most of them are very skilled because they wouldn't use it if they weren't. For me... its the perfect headshot monster!
Oh, forgot - my advise for using it - always shoot burst of 3-4 bullets on the level of the head. The first 2 bullets of the AUG always accurate and the rest just go in a straight line upwards. If you take this in consideration a burst of 3-4 bullets on the level of the head will GUARANTEE you a headshot. You can take up to 3 enemies at a time.
Short range is not good - if you don't get a hs and spray - well your dead. -
i use Steyr Aug Camo that i win in my first gp box then i tryed selling my m4 and ak to try anaconda and d.eagle box and nothing

mah next gun maybe awm or scar L i dont know snipe or rifle? o think awm better -

I have the new Ak47 Scope and the Super Kriss and the AWM all to keep but...
In my 4th bag I keep my aug for when I feel I need to get kills to regain or keep the ACE
The Aug is a headshot monster if your skilled enough, and 1 headshot = dead opponent
I tap tap with it but very rarely spray
I first found it playing crossroads and bought 1 as soon as I could
If you can use it use it and be thankful there are not too many others out there that do. -

the aug its a awesome gun but has slow reaload not for me i im a semi-pro on the ak-47 but i got kicked in rooms mustly in GM im acussed for using aimbot :S some guy say that scar light means no skill if it means then AK-Scope,Kriss Super-V and M4 Custom are What????i il buy an Scar light because i play well with her but the thing i love from ak its killing snipers with her the recoil ruins that gun but i sai AK-47 its the best weapon you can have im tell ya if you mastered you are kicked LOL

Wow,i have to say thanks for all of this nice answers,i tried now this tips and i have to say:OMG!just1-2 shots and i take an enemy with a headshot out,its amazing,and its so accurate also while moving!and i have to say its true,if someone just sprays,he cant get even one kill with aug.just for pros.
p.s.:my best score were 73/12,and i think 60 of them were just headshots. -
steyr aug a1 is a good gun. close range spray with it . on medium range burst. on long range single shot. i dont own the gun but i play with it on crossroad. got a golden headshot with it when the peron was on the other side of the map and the person was jumping.

Well,if any of ye read my posts of this,and read what i had to say alot of times before.
Here is how i use it,(i was in the army and learned to use it this way)
1) Use a 3 shot burst for short-mid range,don't aim for a headshot,takes too long-so just aim for chest or solar plexes. Do NOT use the scope except for long range,just ignore it.
2) The recoil of bullet 3 will be a headshot definately.
3) Long range,use a 2 shot burst and try to hit the head-it will take too long to aim anywhere else.
4) My main problem with it is the reload,takes ages. Make sure to camp while reloading.
P.S.: This is probably the best gun to camp with(my favourite would be powerplant).
It is a small,compact gun-with a scope,so you have the advantage at distance. High ROF aswell. Great gun,but not too many bought,since it is not too suitable for tdm because of TDM's fast action.. -
hmm rust i have say its not really true what you say,first of all,if your good and trained a lot theres no problem of owning with aug on tdm and the other thing is if youre really skilled in aiming fast on head,you can still make headshots on mid/shot range(but it need a lot of practice).
