Re formating.
Is it worth it?I had made a thread on off topic, but can't post there anymore.
My questions:
Are there any programs besides factory settings that I will need?
Most my old programs are expired, and there rest I downloaded myself.
I have vista, desktop.Anything I need to know tot save?
Will it increase my FPS by much?
In the old thread someone said that Advanced System Care pro works almost the same, is it true?Or should I kill him?

reformatting is a good thing to do as it improves computer/laptop performance. It is handy for getting rid of viruses/ and shady programs running in the background.
But before reformatting you should backup important data.
And yes, it should improve FPS, as it gives you a clean slate.
You could always use gamebooster.
But its up to you to decide if you want to reformat or not. -

Sorry, i meant by backing up documents that are important or any file that you wish to keep such as pictures, programs, stuff like that.. Because reformatting will clear everything except files that make the computer run. -

I see, but the computer will work good with factory settings? -

When you have purchased your computer, the master disc will reinstall the OS that the computer is fitted with. SO in other words, if you have vista when you bought your computer, you will have vista. -

The "master disc" is the disc that should've come with the purchase of the computer/laptop. although i think some have them inside the Hard drive, in that case i dont know anything about them. -
