my little sister got me some sony ones for Xmas for like 10 euro.
I can pin point pretty well with them but i dont know anything else to say about them.
I amn't into computer stuff like all ye...

Cross Fire only supports 2.0 (stereo)

Hmmm.. since CF only supports 2.0, what would be a wise choice of headphones to choose? $:\$

I'm not sure, without proper sound, you stand a higher chance of dying to where you did have proper sound.

Tried a couple sets of the lower quality(cheap) headphone/mic setups. The hearing part was tolerable. If you use Vent/TS the mics are of such poor quality the other people have trouble understanding you.

Finally broke down and bought a set of Plantronics. Have been using the same set now for 5 years without issues. Less of course I lost the cd/drivers and my set has since been dicontinued so finding the driver that runs the equalizer has been impossible.

Wouldn't spend much over a hundred dollars for a set unless you have something(movies) that delivers surround sound and most mmo's are still only sending in stereo.

P.S. When wife is away I have a set of Bose also hooked up. Want to hear some realistic noises. I turn those up right below were the neighbors would complain. I can hear the footsteps a block away.

i personally prefer Shure SE210 Earbuds

they are very BEAST for listening to ghosts as well as footsteps for Clan Wars when my team needs me, but Skullcandy are pretty good too bc they are good yet affordable...........bc my Shure SE210 are $200

Have these too: (Just a bit different)

I would use the pioneers I have if they worked so that I could hear footsteps from left or right, not be even on both ears. <<<IF someone helped me with this it would be awesome.
