Well, you got me.
My point is that GMs will see how many hackers are out there.. They won't just read a few threads about it. -

I know what you mean though. Your intentions are good. I'm just trying to view this from a z8 point of view, that's all -

Tell me truely . Are you saying in a way that you prefer to be the victime of a system ? And please don`t tell me that you are not a victim of the kick system , cause then I will say that you pay people not to kick you -

If people continue to see from the point of Z8 , then Z8 will not need to see what they need to see . So let them see and stop seeing for them:cool: -

My eyes just did this when I read that " O.o " I know what you mean though. Everyone needs a wakeup call to the actual amount of cheating players that are in Crossfire. -
Really ? It is NOT about getting kicked once a week because of some lucky streak, it is about getting kicked almost every time you play, because you pwn little QQ kids and they just vote kick you and great CF community automatically clicks F11
So it really does matter.
Well I never pub on this game so you are quite right that I probably never get kicked. If I wanted a challenge in pubs I could go on CS, DoD or CoD. -
Alot of people have no idea how to send a report, heck, alot of people have no clue how to join a clan. If you eliminate the vote system, hackers will be reported by those who know how, but in the meantime alot will still get away with it and your k/d ratio will go to hell unless you leave the game.
I don't have the perfect answer to the problem, nor do I have a clue about programming, but surely GG could eliminate these hacks if they had more than just 1 update every month. Isn't there a log somewhere that shows that the game code was messed with? -

Yea, say i to guys from GG, they will absolutly listen to you...
GMs may have some word about it, and if they will be overspammed by reports, it may force them to do something.
BTW it is almost impossible to over look a thread called "HOW TO REPORT A HACKER" on the forum, so everyone is able to read about it, unless he can speak english. -
I think This would be a great idea. Unfair kicks have been my bane in ghost mode. Esp when you get some whiner in game who takes one death by a stray bullet or a luck shot and screams that you hack until the end of the game (or you get kicked).
If kicks were gone, it would be alot easier to find the actual hackers and get them banned.
PVP games are never going to be free from the mismatched skill levels. It's not fair that someone who doesn't understand how a game mode works (mainly speaking of ghost mode) can Lobby to get someone kicked for Playing the game at a high level of skill.
I begs to argue if it's even worth getting good at the game if playing it at a high skill level gets you kicked from a game or game mode you love and causes more frustration than fun in the game!
Z8 should also make it clear, and emphasize the focus of Ghost is the Move/Kill quietly. Using earbuds it can be pretty easy to get a lock on a ghost who isn't moving. but alot of people don't realize that and scream about walling, fullbright, chams, vip, etc. instead ok realizing and accepting that you got a legit kill on them because they sound like darth vader. Maybe make a Ghost mode tutorial?? i dunno.
Anyways, good idea and i hope Z8 looks into it. -
You can't change the community.
Part of bein good at this game is being kicked(DEAL WITH IT) If someone is hacking and the kick system is removed, what if someone starts using wall hack, speed, weapon hack. What then? The legit players will now "WHINE" due to them hacking. Someone will always whine. -

Ghost mode tutorial sounds good to me. When a new player tries to join GM room for the first time, they should be taken to tutorial automatically and do things like
"find a ghost who's standing still in front of you, and you have to use your earphone to find where he is."
That would teach some new players how to find ghosts. I mean current tutorial is just simply crap....we need a tutorial for ghost mode too since it is a totally different from other modes. -
i have a solution, maybe.
have an account limit on your IP. may or may not be possible to set, but let me waste time typing.
every computer has an IP, make it that every IP address can have 1 account only, except for those who already have more than 1 account, they can stay because theyll eventually get banned IF they are hacking.
so say someone makes an account, hacks, gets banned, that ip is no longer allowed to make an account.
THE ONLY PROBLEM WITH THIS is the smart people who know how to IP change.
i heard about some guy getting ip banned for hacking, if crossfire is doing this, they need to find a different way, because ip changing is very easy to do, takes me 3 seconds. i used to do it for Runescape (yes i played runescape). -

technically no. at least my isp changes my ip every 24 hours.
and then i get a banned ip?
no, dude, that doesnt work. -

exactly got it in 1 for the ghost mode whiners...they would learn how to play IF they played on GR side ul most likely find that the whiner screaming hacks has never attepted to play on GR because they think it is too hard so would rather b a ghost and sit in a corner waiting for a GR player to walk by but thats the worst thing they can do coz they just get tracked down with there breath..but they will never no this due to not playing GR they get told by many a person about there breath but only a few acctually listen to y they got killed
