BunnyHop Guide - A way to success in GM
Since no one post this, then I will.
I have one good news and one bad news for the ones doesn't know how to bunny hop or bunny hop correctly.
Good News: Bunny Hop isn't even Hard.
Bad News: You have to try hard and learn it and don't forget the pace. And, by bunny hopping your hand will be very tired because you holding Ctrl very long.
Little Fact: Bunny Hopping is invented by Chinese people =D, and I am Chinese!
There are 4 generation of Bunny Hopping since people are getting smarter and smarter.
1st Generation:
Remember: You are jumping backwards!
First you need a running start. And after running, you hold Control and jump,(Remember to face backwards where you want to go!) while jumping, push "s", and you moved a little.
Pros: You won't be turn visible whiled jumping.
Cons: You can't see where you are going, because you are jumping BACKWARDS! And if you got unlucky, you will get shoot at the running start!
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Please learn this step before you started learning other generation, this generation is the basic.
2nd Generation:
Since you know how to jump Bunny Hop 1st Gen., here's the second Gen., Same as first, Need running start, you hold control and jump, push "s", after you started, you push "s" before jump. (Note: Those two steps are together!), after the second step, the 3rd and so on, is just repeating 2nd step, until you reach your enemy.
Pros: At least you moving faster than Gen. 1 =D!
Cons: Still, the unlucky thing still happening. Backwards again.
Third Generation:
This is hard, even I need to practice it to get it perfect. This is a perfection version of Ghost Hop. Let me give you a example: You guys all remember the Laboratory lobby where GR spawns right? Now this generation of B-Hop will jump over this Lobby in 4 hops or less ( Amazing isn't it?)
This is kind of same thing to second Gen. except you don't need to get a running start and you need to pace up the "s" you are holding, by pace up I meant you hold it longer so you jump farther.
Don't blame me don't know it, the 4th Gen. is even harder.
Pros: Enemy will call you a hacker and kick you out! That means you are a professional at B-Hopping, because they are died miserablely, they don't know what happened.
Cons: Hard to learn and Hard to control.
Forth Generation:
This is where it gets the extreme hardest.
You will not need a running start, just begin as 3rd, and you suddenly turn 180 degrees, that means you are toward the enemy, and buy that, you keep jumping and you are no longer hold "s", you hold "w" instead.
Pros: You are facing forward so you can see where you are going.
Cons: Get kicked and sometimes running start is needed.
This is all I know about B-Hopping, and by B-Hopping, the 5th Generation is also coming out soon, don't miss my post.
If you don't like me, don't, and stop looking/reading my post!

1st gen: does not need running start, a tiny bit of momentum will work just as well, press s and jump immediately after
2nd gen: does not need running start, it is almost expected when you are bhop you do this jump, or atleast time your jumps
3rd gen: does not need running start, good bhoppers will be able to do this on all their bhops. LayPkXx comes to mind, faster than running speed, no will not cross gr spawn in 4 hops from vending machine to B site in Lab. Rather than describing it as pacing up the S, its more the intricate timing of space bar, bit earlier than you would normally for a double jump. Kinda the timing you feel for fbh. IMMEDIATELY followed by s, holding it as long as you can ofc.
4th gen: I profess I do not know this, but if what you are saying is true all it is is a single speed bhop (3rd gen) followed by forward hop, which isn't the hardest thing and any jumper with a 3digit IQ can eventually chain off 2 hops during practice. But with the uber momentum from 3rd gen combined with added speed from fbh could be incredible I can imagine lol.
v nice guide -
:O!?
Secretly, captain_iron the best of all ninjas with his uzi+glock combo and ninja skills, has created a 5th generation bunny hop.
This bunny-hop is almost impossible to do. I learned it from a chinese guy that was godlike at crossfire and knew almost every single glitch or flaw. Its the same as the 4th gen bunny hop except, instead of turning 180 and facing forward, you keep spinning in circles very fast while spamming space and NO CNTRL KEY. this bunny hop doesn't even require crouch after the first jump.hold down ATK if u want and if u get close to someone it will dmg them, you will still be invisible AND if you spin the right way, you will actually go FASTER than if you just ran.
pros- yes you need to be a pro to do this.
the real pros- you can move FASTER than you can RUN O.O, YOU CAN FACE FORWARD to see enemies, you can hold down atk and kill anything near you
cons- incredibly hard to learn, almost impossible to get right -
When bunny hopping, you shouldn't hold any key down for more than half a second except for ctrl.
Do it correctly and you can get from one end of water in lab, to the other, in about 5-7 seconds, completely invisible AND going forwards.
Timing is key when ghost jumping. -

EDIT: also if u do it correctly arent u doing no fall damage?
I uploaded this video btw.
U still have to hold "crouch" key there. This is not what CaptainIRON is talking about. -

You don`t need a running start for a bunny hop, it's just more helpful getting out of tight situations.
