While I wouldn't mind redoing the match (i'm pretty sure i could beat styx at any map considering alaska is my absolute worst), I think you both should still play alaska. It was kolby's decision to choose alaska, I suppose because it's something different and adds an interesting twist to 1v1s, and because it's his league, his decision is final.
Give alaska a try, I somewhat enjoyed playing on it, it was a different experience for me. -

If you were not able to play it because of deleted REZ files I would understand, but there is no reason for you to not play Alaska.

I had all map pre-picked with confidential discussions from the staff.
They voted on them. Even though I disagree'd with it I have to honor the commitment to conform with the staff.
