I'd say Mutation Mode would be coming no matter who won on Ship. They would'nt delay a new mode over a faction event. Some GR would just have been infected.
Also, looks like new faction event is going to be in Black Widow. "he was taken to a Black List operations base in Spain. This base remains Global Risk's sole lead". Black Widow is in Spain.
